My wife and I decided to visit SF before our first child arrived. We discovered My Rose Garden in a quiet neighborhood just south of the Presidio. Dog walkers and families casually strolled the sunny streets as we found our way to the entrance. ||We were welcomed in and made to feel at home right away. ||The inside of the bright home is filled with color you might find in a home decor magazine- yellows, deep oranges- all very fitting for SF. We found many local guide books in the sitting room that gave us valuable advice during our stay. ||My wife and I stayed in the Yellow room. We found the bed to be comfortable and the fireplace a nice addition. There was plenty of space for luggage and hanging clothes. ||The bathroom was spotless. Even the shower had fantastic water pressure, which is sometimes difficult to find. ||We absolutely loved the breakfast which consisted of several juices, fresh coffee, baked egg dishes, granola, and a lovely fruit compote. We left feeling energized and ready for our day. ||Because of their hospitality at My Rose Garden, we were able to fully relax and feel recharged for each new adventure we had lined up in SF.||But the best part was…||The location is incredible. Very safe. We walked to great restaurants along Clement and Geary with ease. ||We will absolutely be back and will make it a priority to stay at MRG.

We had a wonderful stay here! Such a welcoming home with a lovely family. Kathleen was so accommodating and helpful. Not to mention she prepared such a lovely breakfast setting every morning! I was so excited that she took my food needs into consideration. Being Gluten Free sometimes makes me feel like I’m missing out but I didn’t feel that way!
We couldn’t find parking the first night so we were able to park in the driveway and left our keys downstairs they moved our car to a perfect spot and we never had to move it our whole stay. We walked and got rides from family. It worked out so perfectly for us.
We were in the greatest walkable neighborhood with easy access to beaches and spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
There’s dead bolts on the inside of the rooms. I didn’t feel uncomfortable leaving my belongings and souvenirs there when we went out because we locked the front door of the house when leaving. I don’t travel with valuables I can’t carry on my person.
We had the Green and Red Rooms both were very comfortable and we both slept so well every night. The green room was large with window seat bathroom and sitting area. The red room was smaller but still had seating and a poster bed and the bathroom was down the hall. We came to visit Marilyn’s baby grandson. Thank you so much for helping to create family memories.

We prededed our trip that focused on the US Open at Pebble Beach with a four night stay at My Rose Garden Guest rooms. The quiet neighbourhood location and spacious accommodation of the Green room with a very comfortable bed , ensuite and a thoughtfully prepared breakfast were all features we enjoyed. Our Hostess was very personable and her friendliness added to the enjoyment of our stay in San Francisco. We were very busy and did not really have time to linger in the common areas of the house but we certainly took advantage of the proximity to Baker Beach, and the Cliff House as well as excellent public transit connections.

I was in SF for my son's surgery. This B&B was a perfect choice for me. It was quiet, low key, homey, comfortable, and accommodating. It is old timey comfort, so may not appeal to someone looking for high tech, sleek and modern accommodations. My bed was comfy, the facility was clean, the host accommodated my crazy early start time by providing me with a to-go breakfast. My room was spacious, although some did look smaller. The downstairs lounge/living room was appointed in old style furniture that beckoned one to just come in and sit a while. A small butler's pantry is available to guests that contains a fridge, microwave, utensils, etc. There were plenty of dinner/food options within a few blocks walk. The neighborhood appears well maintained and what passes for safe in this day and age. I would recommend this establishment to anyone needing a cozy, low key retreat in SF.

As I worked for a BnB for 10 years I was really surprised not to have any contact with a host until breakfast the next morning. I keyed the code to get into the house & then had to find my room. Discovered the Violet Room is up 3 flights of stairs so be advised as you will be hauling up your own luggage. My first night was so cold I got up to put on extra clothes. I was provided a space heater the next morning. There is plenty of drawer storage but no place to hang clothes aside from a valet stand. Shared bath was decorator perfect. Hairdryer sounded like it might electrocute you at any moment. |The breakfast was laid out beautifully & food is ample but unimpressive. (I may be spoilt but I was expecting breakfast to be a highlight). |You should know beforehand about the stairs & keys to lock room are available only on request. If you love dogs the two pugs compensate for everything. |Room price is outstanding for SF. |||

Had a wonderful experience with Kathleen! We stayed in the yellow room on the top floor. We had a queen bed and a pull out bed for myself, husband and two year old with private bathroom. It was very comfortable for us.

Breakfasts daily were delicious. We had a few egg dishes, a few sweet and savory options over our four days with Kathleen. Coffee was plentiful and Kathleen was above and beyond helpful!

We had a wonderful time at My Rose Garden. We stayed in the yellow room on the top floor. Room was large and the queen bed was very comfortable.

Breakfasts daily were delicious, a good basis for discovering San Francisco.

My Rose Garden is located in the Richmond district, just a few walking minutes to the Presidio Park. The neighborhood is beautiful, quite and house are built in typical San Francisco architecture. We loved being there.

I’ve stayed here twice now and honestly, I don’t want to stay anywhere else when I’m in SF. I’m spoiled. I just love it here. The whole house is so charming & inviting. And QUIET! My favorite room is the Green Room (and I have a fantasy of recreating it exactly at home, which of course will never happen). So I’ll just have to settle for staying there whenever I’m in town. Can’t wait for the next visit!
