A must stay when visiting Murphys. A classic old hotel, nicely preserved. Staying there is like taking an excursion back in time. The rooms are named for famous guests.

The restaurant downstairs is the finest in town. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner.
•Corned beef hash was very good, as was the coffee.
•The Blue(main salad) romaine lettuce topped with blue cheese dressing with croutons was absolutely amazing.
•Prime Rib(12oz) my husband thoroughly enjoyed it.

The bar downstairs was rustic. Billy makes a great Old Fashioned

My wife and I went to the Murphy's hotel to have a late breakfast. We did not stay at the hotel. We sat outside which has a great atmosphere! The food was good as well, but the only thing that could have been better was the service. It looked like they were short staffed. I get it, it's hard to find good people to work in the area. We still had a great time. What a beautiful and historic place!

Came here to try the dinner and I ordered the steak and it was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try other food. Customer service was awesome. Our waiter was very attentive and positive attitude.

We didn't stay in the hotel this time, but we had late night drinks after the Robert Plant concert at Ironstone Winery. Very accomodating, it is usually closed at 9:00 but they stayed open to serve drinks. Wonderful atmosphere in the historic hotel. Bartender was friendly and the drinks were excellent!

Room 305 has been recently updated. Modern and old combined. Concrete countertops. bathroom and bar . No coffee maker in rooms. Must be the new thing going on. They need to change out the foldable chairs for actual chairs leather more comfortable.
Remodeling must be going on still. 🤔
SHOWER SUCKS! No water pressure.
Bed base was filthy 😲

Curt, man... what can I say... We had a blast with you. We spent a lot of time in one place on both days, and it happened to be here. Whiskey selection is not bad either. The place is fantastic and I miss it already.

On 8/19/24 we stayed at the Historic Murphy’s Hotel. We stayed in the annex, an older motel that they remodeled. The room was nicely appointed with a comfy king bed. A very good value.
We enjoyed an outstanding dinner outside on the patio. Great service, great drink, great food. Plus they have a kitty if you enjoyed cats like I do. A great stay and we will return!

I've never had the pleasure of staying here, but I help myself to the delicious cocktails and refreshing beers. When you're done with wine tasting and some local shopping come enjoy a cooling drink here. Plus they offer food as well. I've yet to try the food as well but the service and area is a nice place to chill from the streets of Murphy's.
