I couldn’t go to the pick because of windy, misty and rainy day but abut 1.5 miles which I went was beautiful. Check the picks please. 1st 3 miles gravel road to main parking then 3 miles mostly sloppy hike to the pick. Good boot would be helpful in bad weather.

Nice in town hike that makes you feel like you are in the wilderness. It is a very wide, easy trail but definitely a workout to get to the top. We went to Wrights Peak, the highest at 4305 feet and it took about 1.5 hours with a few breaks to the top and another 1.5 hours coming down. There is a parking lot midway up the mountain where you park.
There are 3 peaks to choose from, all well marked the clean bathrooms up each trail. I was sore the next day but it was worth it.

Not very crowded. 3 miles one way from main parking lot to Wright Peak. Stay on trail 0.5 mile as you walk through private property, then it is 2.5 miles to the the peak. Bathroom along the way but no potable water. Bring lots of water with you. Hike not too steep and little shade. Don't miss the airplane wreck

What celestial and serene atmosphere and views. It has a feel of Switzerland, Ireland, Scotland, and Italy- all in one! I was amazed by the incredible variety of sites and places. And did I mention the most beautiful lake? Also, it is an artifact from history since it is over two million years old.

This mountain offers amazing views!

The trails are pretty steep and slippery because of loose gravels so bring good shoes. It was dry when we went but it can get very muddy after a rain fall. There are benches and tables for picnic with restrooms at the parking lot and around 1 mile up the first trail.

Expect a 5 mile round trip hike minimum to get to the top of the shortest peak, there are 3 of them.

Please don't throw trash or cigarette butts on the ground, there are trash cans at the parking lot and up the first leg of the trail. Thank you!
