Mountain Shadows is the most perfect place for a small team corporate retreat! Our team of 6 stayed for 3 days and two nights. A local caterer brought in delicious food. We were able to do yoga in the morning on the deck, take a break by the pool, get an incredible amount of quality work done, and bond as a team. The rooms and amenities were perfect! We would love to come back.

Mountain Shadows Retreat (The Anti-Venue) provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. From the moment we first reached out, the staff was prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful in making our vision a reality. The natural setting and stunning views were beyond our expectations - the gorgeous outdoor space truly felt like an oasis. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our special day ran smoothly, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue.

We had a work retreat at Mountain Shadows and it was the perfect backdrop for it! The staff was very accommodating and easy to work with. We were able to bring in our own licensed vendors for meals and decor. It was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed for our getaway. I highly recommend staying at Mountain Shadows for your wedding, family trip, or work retreat.

Mountain Shadows Retreat is the most incredible venue. It allowed us to have a wedding experience that is really hard to find. Not only are the views absolutely incredible, the home is so well kept and beautiful. So many of our friends and family got to stay with us which is exactly what we wanted. We had our own private casita, such a great set up so we have a little getaway but are still right there with everyone. So easy to work with and communicate with throughout the entire planning process all the way up to the big day. Scena had so many wonderful recommendations for vendors and just details of the wedding that she's seen work well. I can't recommend this place enough!!

Beautiful scene with an amazing staff. We were greeted by Shadows parking staff and were directed quickly to keep all arriving guests moving. From the wedding all the way to the end of the night was filled with gorgeous views, laughter , and fun. The staff was helpful and kept things going on time and with ease. Highly recommend having your event here.

I've now hosted three corporate retreats at Mountain Shadows—one for a leadership team and two for annual CEO gatherings. The venue is fantastic, offering breathtaking views, convenient access to local activities, and an incredible staff that ensures every detail is covered. Our daughter's wedding was at Mountain Shadows Retreat in October 2024. It was a magical long weekend. The venue is gorgeous and well stocked. The bridal party and immediate families stayed onsite at the lodge, casitas, and tiny homes. Extended family and friends booked at the nearby Miner's Camp. Scena and Summer were great to work with, from start to finish. Mountain Shadows Retreat has places for large groups for a welcome party, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and also space for smaller intimate times such as a rehearsal dinner, bridal party meals, games, and family fantasy football league tv time. The views are stunning and the venue is peaceful. MSR allows you to bring in your choice of vendors for catering, floral, dj etc and they also give many recommendations. Grants Hardware nearby was great for tables, chairs, heaters, and lights packages. We are looking forward to returning in the future for an anniversary or family reunion. Thank you Mountain Shadows Retreat for being the perfect venue for a beautiful wedding.
