My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Mountain Shadows Resort, and it was truly exceptional. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Being local to the area, we love various "staycations" and have been to most of the resorts around Phoenix and Scottsdale, and this was our favorite so far. ||We had a beautiful room facing the wedding venue and Camelback Mountain. Large glass shower in the middle with a tub in a nook facing the mountain. Our dinner was wonderful and the next day we had a cabana by the pool. A special shout out to Jason, the manager working the pool that day, who went out of his way to help us create a wonderful memory. His professionalism and care made us feel like VIPs'. | Kenzie was our server by the pool and provided outstanding service- attentive, friendly, and always ensuring we had everything we needed. At the bar, Landon and Brittany were fantastic, crafting delicious drinks. ||Every detail was handled with care from check-in to check-out. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. We will definitely be back and it will become our annual go-to for our anniversary.

We loved our stay at the beautiful Mountain Shadows! The room was gorgeous with nice amenities, a great view of Camelback Mountain and spacious accommodations. The golf course and pro shop were fantastic! Every single person on staff we encountered was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The pool and pool bar were so clean and inviting. All of the food we had (room service, pool service and Rusty’s) was so good! Highly recommend this property. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Another annual Mountain Shadows family visit over the Thanksgiving holiday. The hotel and staff as always, were amazing. The updated luxury rooms are spacious and clean. We golf all week as a family every year and this year on Thanksgiving Day the beautiful PAR 3 golf course on property surrendered a hole-in-one to my cousin on the very first 107 yard hole at 10:31 am. The restaurant has just gotten better each and every year, the high quality menu and exceptional service was recently awarded a Michelin Star! A great testament to the chef and team at the hotel. Well deserved. We can't wait to visit Mountain Shadows again next Thanksgiving for our 5th annual Golf-a-Palooza.

We came to Mountain Shadows over the Thanksgiving holiday. The hotel and staff were wonderful. The rooms were very nicely updated. ||The golf course on property was very challenging and my wife got her first hole in one on the very first hole. ||The restaurant has very high quality food with exceptional service. I am happy to see the restaurant was awarded a Michelin Star! It is well deserved.||We look forward to visiting Mountain Shadows again soon!

Rooms and staff were exceptional. Great golf course, challenging, but great views of Mummy and Camelback Mountain. Food at the restaurant was always wonderful, well deserved of the Michelin star! Look forward to visiting again in the future!

We picked Mountain Shadows Resort to celebrate our anniversary, rest, relax, and recharge. While we found the grounds beautiful and our room absolutely perfect, the noise from the events overshadowed it all. Our room shared a wall to one of the event spaces. All three nights of our stay included events - one night even featuring an additional event in the green space below our room and one morning with a 6 am workout class with an instructor shouting affirmations into a microphone. We are leaving tired and frustrated from being up late because of the loud music that could be heard despite a closed patio door. We called the front desk shortly after checking in to ask if we could be moved somewhere more quiet but no rooms were available.

Such a beautiful resort with an amazing view!? And brunch was so tasty & delicious Service was excellent? Just a fun weekend get-together with friends for me, but I'm sure the rooms & remaining resort amenities are pretty great too. Day passes are available but were sold out by the time I tried to get one, so definitely act fast if interested.

This place was incredible. It's definitely a destination spot and the stay is an experience! The old school stationary and posts in the drawer, the modern cemetery mixed with wood and glass is beautiful. I loved all the nuances - the DND sign is a necktie - Clever! The bed slept amazing and the staff didn't miss a beat. My stay was an experience, just not a night in a hotel... I will be back!
