What a dump. Our United Airlines flight was cancelled and we got a Hotel Voucher. I have never had such a bad Holiday Inn Express experience. We were told at the airport that there was a hotel shuttle. Chicago is a very busy airport. We stood outside for 45 minutes and no shuttle. I called the hotel twice you can only leave a message. So we were talking to another couple and they were heading to the same hotel. They were told there is no shuttle. So we agreed to share a taxi. 8 miles cost $64!!!||We get to the hotel and are assigned a room at the back right next to an exit. Someone put a rock in the door to keep it from closing. We removed the rock and tried to shut the door to lock it. We’re dealing with the door issue and this man came up on us. We both got this really creepy vibe from him. The door doesn’t shut all the way and won’t lock. We got into the room and it is obviously a room that never gets used. The curtain shade won’t close and it’s all crooked. So we go back to the front desk and request a different room. It’s slightly better. ||The only way we can connect to Wi-Fi is standing in front of the bathroom sink and even this it’s weak and keeps disconnecting. Our tv keeps going out because of lost signal. No surprise, breakfast is awful. Very minimal offerings. The worst Holiday Inn Express ever!!! And the creepy guy is lurking in the lobby. Don’t go here!!!

This is a really great place to stay. I have been here for many times in recent years. The room is clean and well maintained. Check-in is easy and fast. The location is very ideal. Most importantly, the service atmosphere is excellent, their staff at reception desk are very friendly, especially Sravya always helps me with great patience and care. My recent stay was tainted by zero hot water This place doesn’t deserve 1 star!

I brought this to the attention of the receptionist in addition to video of the shower head just dripping water. They sent a repair person to my room- she suggested the shower head needed to be replaced - she left and never came back. I went to eat, came back - nothing done and I was too tired to deal with it as I was getting up at 4:45 am to go to a competition. I woke up - tried to have a shower and it was less than luke warm - went about my day - came back, complained again and was told they’d move me to a different room with hot water. It was 9:30 pm I really didn’t want to pack my room to unpack etc - nonetheless, I did - and voila the shower I had at 10:30 pm was warmer than Luke warm. The following night I came back to my room to shower again and there was no hot water - I complained again and was told there is sometimes an issue with the pipes. Frustrated with the lack of customer service I just left it.
My personal plans changed and instead of checking out Monday I checked out Sunday and upon Checkout I asked for a discount due to this terrible stay and service. I was told the manager needed to get involved and she was on “family” day as it was Sunday. I was clear with my frustrations and respected the Sunday management day off. I was told I’d get a phone call Monday to confirm

Zero follow up on Monday - so I called to get an update and was told the manager wasn’t available and a decision wasn’t made yet. The receptionist advised she’d contact me as soon as she knew.
I just called again now Tuesday and was told they were going to move me again on Sunday night but because I choose to go home there’s no discount available to me?!!!!

My plans changed - this doesn’t negate the water issues or me packing up alllllllll my stuff to move - the solution to this can’t be inconveniencing your customers over and over again with moving rooms?!

I’m calling from another country and have now been hung up on 6 times and now told to call back at 7 am tomorrow when the manager is there? Ummm no - step it up here and you guys make the phone call !

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Above not having hot water to shower in the blankets on the bed were filled with cigarette burns in my non smoking room!

The door also wouldn’t lock unless allllllll the locks were used - not exactly safe for a single woman.

Never again- I took videos but can only post photos -

Do yourself a favour and save yourself the frustration of this hotel. Many others in the area to choose from.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Motel 6 Rolling Meadows and my experience was wonderful from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.

A special mention goes to Sravya at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. She was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist, whether it was providing local recommendations or answering questions with a genuine smile. Her attentive service truly made my stay exceptional.

It’s a little more than what you expect from your normal motel 6! The rooms are nice and clean! Lobby is really small! And the location is everything! With dogs stay free on top of the already very low rates, you can’t beat it! But the bed was so uncomfortable! It was literally 4 inches of uncomfortably lol but at least it didn’t have bugs

We booked this hotel for Christmas Eve. It was an inexpensive option, so we did not have high, unrealistic expectations. However, we did not expect holes in the bedding and bugs crawling all over the bathroom and shower. We checked in and then went to dinner. It was at dinner I was told about the bugs in the room. We let them know we would not be staying but were refused a refund because we did not let them know within the 10-minute allowable time frame. Quite honestly, if you have a policy that allows you to inspect the room for 10 minutes, then you already know there is a problem with your hotel.

Overall decent hotel. Chandu great customer service! If you are expecting Hilton quality then go to Hilton. For the price I would highly recommend this hotel. Good cleanliness and comfortable beds

I stayed at this hotel last week. It was very clean but the problem I had was the cleaning people that come to each room. When I stay there I had a female. The next day I had a man who about look like late '50s clean my room. He asked me a personal question that made me very uncomfortable. Are you single? I told him no. He said you look very pretty and then one night there was a guy standing outside. We were on the same floor. I was just talking to him about the weather how cold outside then I went in my room to get ready for bed. Next you know he came and knocked on my door. I looked through the hole but I did not answer it. The other night I stayed there. I decided to go to the bedding machines. I put money in the machine hit the button it said it was sold out. I did not know that I went to the front desk and told the guy. He asked me what room I was in and I told him and he said he will let the manager know in the morning he said the manager will come knock on my door in the morning. Never happen. I went down to the office and I talked to a lady. She said there's nothing they can do very rude half of the time I was scared to walk out of my own room because that same guy was always there. The maintenance guy and the other one that tried to knock on my door. I will never stay at this hotel again when you stay at hotel, you should not be scared to walk out your door and also I did have bad nights there because of people above me kept banging all night moving around furniture 8:00 at night all the way until midnight. This hotel is not worth it The price might be good but it's really not worth it also what I like to add to this The room with one bed. It makes no sense. They have no mini fridge or microwave in there. They only have a mini fridge and microwave for the two bed. I think that is ridiculous that hotel is not Worth to stay again and the front desk people were rude and playing games zero stars for if I can give them your zero Stars I will One star but I do got to say the shower was great and the location was not great. I do not drive so I literally had to walk to get what I need to survive and I could not fridge my food. That was very bad and I'm also a diabetic and the lady at the front desk told me I could change rooms but I'll have to check out and check back in three and I told her I do not drive. So where am I going to put my stuff
