this place is a nice and quiet camp site. The owners clearly take pride in their property and a private deck is included as well. If you have no kids and don’t have intentions on guests coming to join you that don’t sleep there, then this place is likely wonderful. However, after our stay , it’s very evident the owners here would prefer no kids and need to post on their reservation page that if you aren’t sleeping there then you cannot be there.
they were not tolerant to our large family of children, were rude when we had guests show up even though they didn’t take anyone’s space but ours and were not only expecting quiet time by 10pm which is normal but actually wanted us in our rv’s essentially going to bed.
I recommend the owners advertise their campground as a quiet alternative , that they would prefer no kids, and make their guest policy known up front as well as a more clear expectation of their 10pm quiet time.
This campsite is not family friendly .

I love this place. It is right on the water. Maggie and her husband are the sweetest people. They even took me out on the jet ski for free. I had so much fun here. I would definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for a quiet getaway, then this is definitely the place!!! My lady and I had an adorable cabin for the night, with all amenities available. Sadly we were only able to stay one night as the cabin had already been booked for the following day, but no matter! I'm sure the next guests will enjoy it as much as we did!
Quiet location off the highway, gorgeous view.
The first message we got was "please excuse the construction mess, we're adding new cabins". Honestly, if anyone is upset at the construction, then maybe they shouldn't be staying there, I'd recommend downtown Anchorage with all the riffraff.
I sure hope we can land this location again soon, as we're planning another weekend getaway!! 5 stars all around!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Mooseberry Cabins and wished we could have stayed even longer. The cabin is very clean and comfortable with great amenities, perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed a quiet evening by the lake, sitting in the Adirondacks. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to meet our hosts as they had an emergency, but Sophia was very helpful. They even offer evening cruise on the lake. We definitely recommend the Mooseberry Cabins!

We used one of the RV sites, not the cabins. The owners are really nice, hard-working people. They have RV sites, cabins for rent, and a boat dock. We would go back.
