The Montage was absolutely amazing! We had a stunning room with a lovely ocean view, outstanding service at the Loft for their 4 course Christmas dinner! Also loved going there for just a nice dinner the day after Christmas. The pool is fun and lively with yummy food and service! The Mosaic bar and grill was also delicious! Our server Hannah made it a wonderful experience by giving great recommendations and having the best energy! I came with my family and really enjoyed my stay! Overall I highly recommend the montage for a classy, friendly, fun, and wonderful stay! (Also try the molten chocolate cake in the lobby it’s amazing)!

Stayed here with my wife and daughter for their birthdays. All I can say is, incredible. The views from the lobby, the food, the drinks, the service, the pools, access to beautiful beaches, and gorgeous well appointed rooms. This property goes down as one of our favorites we have ever stayed at. Great work Montage Laguna Beach! We will be back!

We didn’t stay at Montage Laguna Beach because we were visiting our cousins, but they took us there for a delightful stroll around the property. Montage Laguna Beach is a paradise of spectacular views and serene beauty. With its lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and impeccably maintained surroundings, it feels like stepping into a dream. The calming sound of the waves crashing against the shore creates the perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. Every moment spent here is a chance to soak in the breathtaking scenery, breathe in the ocean breeze, and savor the tranquility. It’s a place where time slows down, and you can truly enjoy the harmony of nature and the soothing ambiance all around.

We had the best 5 day vacation, the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach, was absolutely amazing. Our room were stunning—beautifully designed, super comfortable, and had everything you could possibly need. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but honestly, it’s worth every penny, especially if you splurge on a room with a direct ocean view. Waking up to that view was unforgettable. They really nailed it—highly recommend!

Normally, it would probably be a good experience but for those visiting the hotel in 2025 you should be aware there is a massive construction project underway to renovate the main pool and other parts of the hotel. You won’t been able to use the main pool and you will be listening to jack hammers all day long during your stay. The Montage should do a better job making it clear on their website that the construction is significantly impacting the experience at the hotel. Definitely not worth the cost right now. Many folks staying at the property had similar complaints and probably would not have booked a stay here if they knew ahead of time. You can listen for yourself what the jack hammers sound like.

Montage Laguna Beach is truly one of the most incredible places in the world! It’s a destination we never miss, and every visit feels magical. The breathtaking ocean views, the meticulously maintained gardens, and the serene ambiance make it an unforgettable experience every single time.

This past Christmas, I had the joy of bringing my mom all the way from Poland to see the Montage gardens, and it was such a special moment for our family. The beauty of the gardens combined with the calming sound of the ocean made it a truly magical experience.

Whether it’s taking a peaceful stroll, soaking in the spectacular views, or simply enjoying the ocean breeze, Montage offers something for everyone. My family and I try to visit every other month because it’s a place that rejuvenates the soul and brings us closer together.

If you’re looking for a slice of paradise, I can’t recommend Montage Laguna Beach enough. It’s not just a destination—it’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. From arrival, check in, and retrieving my vehicle from valet, I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. I stayed in one of the villas which was impeccable and had anything you would need if you were there for an extended period of time. I highly recommend experiencing this property at least once in your life.

Our family heard wonderful things about the Montage and were excited to experience our daughter’s first beach experience - However, we were very disappointed. Madi at the front desk was beyond wonderful. Our upgraded room was beautiful. The location was beautiful. Our Mosaic lunch was lovely. Our downturn began when we were waiting for our room to be ready and looking to take advantage the pool with our 5 year old and needing to change we were told our daughter was not allowed to change in the spa area. Nor was anyone present at the pool for towels or food/drink order… Enough so we had to call via phone to ask for service. The lounge chairs were filthy. Our dinner at Loft was delicious, but both my husband and I got oddly sick overnight and following morning. Upon departure no attempt to assist to luggage into vehicle. Lastly, we are frequent 5 star hotel patrons and the atmosphere felt very stuffy and shunned to have a child with us regardless of specifically booking due to child friendly reviews/feedback. This is very not like us to feel such a way much less to leave a review. we had wonderful aspects… But overall very disappointed and underwhelmed.
