Great food for the price! I ordered the House ramen with tonkotsu sauce. The serving was big, I ended up sharing it with my husband. Broth was tasty. We also got the Calamari, small serving, but good for appetizer. My husband got the gyudon bowl. Serving was smaller and didn't have much meat, but it tasted good.

Service took around 20 minutes, we came in during the dinner rush hour, so be ready for some wait time. The place was very small, but we got seated almost immediately.

Momoji is a great place to get ramen for cheap. I had the spicy deluxe ramen, which I found to be very delicious. I felt full for a long time, and the spice level was just right. The thai tea I had was sweet and refreshing. The service is friendly and attentive. I will be sure to come back in the future.

Momiji is my go to ramen when I needed to fix my cravings for a near by ramen! I have been a regular way before they have added new things to their menu & revamp the whole thing!

At one point, me and my siblings were here so often every Thursday that the staff knows our ramen orders & how we like them!

The black garlic ramen is my go to. I like it a little spicy so I always say mild spicy. I normally get roasted seaweed as well so then my entire bowl of ramen would be as scrumptious as it can be. I will admit though that the tonkatsu broth can be a bit salty when it is just the broth so I advise to slurp the broth with noodles & toppings!
^ oooh I want to talk about their kakuni which the super tender braised pork belly that is added to your ramen. This kakuni is, by far, one of my favorites out there & I hunt for ramens!

My usuals are:

• Edamame- if you want to chum on something healthy
• Iidako Karaage (deep fried baby octopus)
• Gyoza
• Calamari
• Tori Kaarage (japanese style fried chicken)

• Deluxe Ramen with Tonkatsu as a base if you are wanting to have tons of options for meat and adding black garlic to that! Of course, mild spicy
• Black Garlic Ramen with Tonkatsu Mild Spicy with Roasted Seaweed
• House Ramen with Tonkatsu

• Thai Iced Tea

Nevertheless, when one is craving for ramen and wanted a quick one where you don’t want to stand & wait for an hour or so because of the line, this is the place! I guarantee it will leave you wanting more! 🥰

Tasty chicken and pork broth, good thin noodles, and--the star of the whole meal--delicious, melt-in-your-mouth kakuni. The shrimp tempura add-on in their weekday lunch combo was also satisfying. I enjoyed this spot and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hearty bowl of ramen!

The deluxe ramen was not bad, the atmosphere was not the most positive. The person is not the most friendly.

Momiji is my go-to local spot for ramen in Daly City! It's low key but they have a lot of customization options and a variety of different broths. They also have some decent lunch specials if you're looking for a lot of food. It tends to get a little busy since they don't have many tables, but this spot is worth the wait!

Stopped by the other week for lunch with a vegan friend, she was able to easily swap out the ramen noodles (which are made with egg) for udon noodles.

I got the deluxe ramen which was very satisfying - delicious broth and a great mix of different proteins, which is always appreciated compared to other ramen places which just give you 1-2 slices of chashu (and leaves me hungry an hour later).

The food is not the best one out in the town, at least not the rice plate. Some parts of the food are salty while others are plain. Chickens are overcooked. Maybe the chef was too busy? The dining area is small and crowded. There's not much space between you and the other diners. Overall, it’s an above-average Japanese restaurant.

I’ve been here several times in the past but in my search for a great Ramen I haven’t been back for a while. Just returning from my long visit to Japan I wanted to go over a couple of my peninsula favorites and was very happy we have a great Ramen here. I only had 2 in Japan equal to Momiji from several in different parts of Japan. Great staff and fast service. The Delux Ramen spicy my favorite. Keep up the good work. And will see you more often😋
