This is a really lovely hotel and they do an amazing job keeping guests comfortable! The pool is closed for the season during March but otherwise we are having a lovely stay. It’s a beautiful hotel for its price, you definitely get more ambiance than a typical side of the road 3 star chain hotel. The beds are soft on top but firm underneath. Good sized bathroom compared to some of our recent hotel stays. Everything is very clean. The front desk gave us advice on local sights and we may go to dinosaur tracks or the little Colorado river gorge. There’s a supermarket very close by that has a Starbucks (yes, im a bit embarrassed hyping this, but we’ve been roughing it in the wilderness for a week now and in dire need of civilization!) note - the Hopi reservation uses Arizona time, which does not observe daylight savings. I think there is Navajo land just across the street that does use DST. The times are confusing here!!! I didn’t have any cell service to the west of here, so plan accordingly. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and I’m super happy we drove this way from southern Utah instead of going all the way down to flagstaff.

They do not allow pets, smoking, use of alcohol.

I stayed at the Moenkopi Legacy Inn & Suites in May 2025, in room 336. Overall, my experience was mixed.

On the positive side, the room was large and spacious, and an issue with muted TV was resolved quickly. The room was also clean and quiet.

However, there were some significant drawbacks. The room was very hot, and the air conditioner was extremely noisy. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, and the mattress was sagging. Furthermore, we requested hot water for coffee just 2 minutes after 9 AM, but the breakfast was packed up, and we were told we couldn't get hot water in the lobby. I've never encountered that before.

Had a nice stop over in Tuba City on our way to see some sites up north. The good: the bed was very comfortable. Hot showers and a good breakfast that’s included with your stay. Our room was very quiet which is a huge plus for us. Not great: room was not vacuumed before our stay. Time difference is confusing and breakfast was not ready. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Pool is not clean. Woman working at the front desk is unfriendly and borderline rude (raised her eyebrow at me like I was crazy when I asked if we could have help getting our bags to our room instead of saying "sorry, no, but we have a trolley available for you to use"). Called with a noise complaint at 20:11!! If you want this place to be a mausoleum you should be more clear in your T n C's.

Rooms are pretty good tho.

This hotel could give name brand hotels a run for their money if it was located in a metro area. Large clean balcony rooms, comfortable beds, clean hallways , stairways, and elevators. The large lobby is inviting with a fireplace and breakfast eating area. Breakfast is your standard hot breakfast, cheese omelet, sausage, toaster, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juice.
This was the perfect place to rest.

We stayed here to visit the Grand Canyon and found that it is still quite a drive to get there. There are very few options for restaurants or anything else for that matter. The staff was friendly enough but not overly so. If I had it to do over again, I would have stayed in Prescott and traveled from there to see the sites. Live and learn.

Last minute driving thru and made reservation. Nice big room. Super clean. Check in was seamless and fast. Would definitely stay there again.
