I had the privilege of being invited here with my dad in 2014. We are all avid fishermen. I can say this; the best fishing I have ever done is in Alaska. The variety of techniques and styles of river fishing is all there. The guides, are probably the most professional I have ever met. The food is amazing and the service is even better.||If I could ever describe life with in the lodge, it would be as having your personal lodge, with full service and amenities in the middle of nowhere. The scenery is spectacular.||||My personal favorite part of the trip, are the water plane rides. The pilots are bush pilots, and if you are looking for a thrill, they can certainly deliver!!!!

Mission lodge was incredible. Gourmet food, great lodging, great service...but the best part were the daily fly outs to the fishing hot spots. Caught limits of silvers every day as well as catch and release trout. Even got a day in of Ptarmigan hunting on the tundra. The pilots and guides were incredible. Great teamwork to ensure the guest had the best experience every single day.

This is a completely full service lodge where you have very little to decide except for the species of fish you are going after today. The staff is simply amazing. However, the best part of this lodge is not the tangible, but the intangible. You will leave this place with the memories of a lifetime! From the kitchen staff, to the lodge staff, to the guides and pilots. This is a fishing experience you will never forget. Even if you don't fish, there is plenty to do and see here. The Brooks Falls excursion is something not to be missed.

I have been fortunate to fish at many of the great freshwater and many of the great saltwater fly fishing destinations in North America and Patagonia. As a lifelong resident of Colorado I have been a serious fly fisherman of western waters for over 45 years. I have fished at Estancia's in Argentina and Chile. I have fished at other Alaskan destinations before I found Mission. There is no finer lodge operation anywhere that I have found than Mission Lodge. The quality of the Lodge, the Crew members and guides, the Float Planes, the boats and the food, has been consistently outstanding. It is worth the price.

This is an amazing lodge if you are looking for a fishing adventure of a lifetime. Within three days, my son and I caught multiple Kings, sockeyes, dollies, lake trouts, rainbow trouts, pikes. On fly rod, on bait casting and on spinning rod. You can fly to a new fishing site every day, or you can choose lake hopping on a sea plane and fish up to 4 different lakes in a single day. Every place that you fish is pristine and in the wilderness. Staff is attentive and guides are truly experience and knowledgeable. The programs are well planned and well executed. Highly recommended!

Nowhere can you feel as well cared for than here. Incredible cuisine, professional fishing guides. One guide for every two guests. If you want to fly fish for salmon or even reel fish, this is the place to be. Amazing scenery, Fly to rivers in 6 seat DeHavilland Beavers or boat to estuaries. Experience shore lunches (camp fire Salmon). 20+/- guests per week. All inclusive.

Mission Lodge is by far one of the finest lodges in SouthWest Alaska. From the lodge staff, chefs, guides, pilots... you could not ask for any friendlier and more accommodating individuals. Sarah has done a fine job pulling together a top notch operation. I look forward to returning in the future to see more of what this awesome lodge and fishery has to offer. 5 Stars - highly recommended!

Great lodge, friendly staff in a world class freshwater fishery. In our group we caught grayling, Arctic char, dolly varden, rainbow trout, lake trout, pike, king salmon, pink salmon, sockeye salmon, and chum salmon. Hard to beat the variety and scenery.
