As a wedding photographer, I have photographed at many many venues in LA. Millwick stands out among the rest for its modern and unique decor, the seamless flow for guests, and the amazing staff that are super helpful and cool! It is such an amazing spot to get married at in the heart of the arts district! You are literally transported from the grimy streets of DTLA to a tropical, light-filled, super cool oasis. I highly recommend couples to this venue and I can't wait to shoot another wedding here soon 🙂

My wife and I recently had our wedding at Millwick, and we could not have been happier with how everything turned out. From the beautiful outdoor-indoor layout to the lush greenery and its staff, I would 11/10 recommend any couple to consider Millwick as their wedding venue. More importantly, working with the staff (specifically Dana and Clare) has been an amazing experience. We got to customize the venue and design our day exactly how we wanted, and they were both there for us every step of the way. Millwick is seriously the most gorgeous venue that my husband and I have set foot on. Greenery is all around that once you set foot, you forget that you are in the Arts District! There are so many unique features about this venue that you will not get at any other venue that you come across such as the magnet wall which many couples use for the seating chart and you can get as creative as you’d like for it, we did polaroids of all our guests and it was a huge hit! We also used the magnet wall to put additional bar menus on and it was super easy, print a menu and put some magnets to hold it in place and you are set! Another one I highly suggest you take advantage of is ordering a customized branding press for your special day and you can brand it at the bar, we did this during our design session and it was a lot of fun aside from us keeping our fingers crossed that it will brand properly, but we worked with Clare to get some test runs prior til we did the actual one and it came out pretty well! Floor plan you will have flexibility of designing but Dana or Clare will give you a draft of it based on your guest count and you can tweak it to your liking, but also listen to their advice because they will know what it takes to get those perfect photos. My suggestion is trust the process and ask as many questions or run as many thoughts you have with Clare and Dana and your wedding coordinator, they’re experts at supporting you and your vision! I loved that my husband and I got to run all of our random thoughts of our vision with them from testing our backdrop to see how it would look to providing us guidance on how many bud vases we should be having per a table since we were doing family style to the color napkin choice, etc.

If you want your best furriend to be part of your ceremony too, I say GO FOR IT! Just send Dana and Clare some photos of your dog and see if they approve it and all you have to do is follow the rules of the dog always being on a leash and having to leave immediately after the ceremony. We were super grateful that your dog was part of our special day and it really made some priceless photography memories that we will cherish forever! He was also probably more popular than we were on our wedding day haha.

My husband and I have so much love for the Marvimon team, especially the Site Managers, Dana, Clare, and Anika, along with our Wedding Coordinator, Eunice you all have truly made our wedding planning experience so so so seamless and fun that we will probably be emailing the email chain for fun just so that we can keep the conversations going! We can’t wait to be back at the venue in the future!

I recently photographed a wedding here and it was stunning! The venue feels like a tropical oasis your guests can walk into and enjoy. All of the natural light flooding in is amazing.

The space feels like the perfect combo of it's own thoughtful stylistic details but still gives space for you to bring in your own touches and design your wedding vision.

We popped out to the arts district for photos nearby and having that option is great 🙂

One of the 6 super photogenic venues found in LA, is a super dense photographer dream in a very small area. Parking is a bit of a chore, but like most LA venues, once you get in you are transported and shielded from the crazy. So lush in it's thoughtful placement details to shoot against. There so much to use here, it always seems like we don't have the time. Every wall there's something to use. We love places like this since it makes our wheels turn and it's inspiring every time we go.

We are wedding photographers and are totally obsessed with this space. It's such a fun, modern venue to host a wedding celebration at. The lighting is beautiful, the space is modern with really unique touches, and the greenery makes you feel like your in a tropical jungle. Highly recommend.

Millwick by Marvimon is an amazing venue and the staff is amazing. Dana and team made it really easy for all the preparation work for our event, but also was helpful during the day of the vent as well. Without their partnership, I don't think any of it could have been possible.

They have other locations not too far away from DTLA and equally as beautiful. I'd highly recommend this space for any event needs and will definitely be a returning customer if another event arises!
