This is one of the coolest and most unique places we've ever stayed, and we've stayed in a lot of places over the years. Our suite was very quiet and spacious and very clean. The location is right on the main street in town, next to a good Italian restaurant and near other restaurants and shops.

I visited Lander, Wyoming with 3 other friends to do a buffalo harvest at the Falls Family Ranch. This was the perfect spot! The location was right on main street next to multiple killer restaurants, the bar, and was a perfect spot to hang out. The house was the best part though, it was well maintained, tons of space to hang out with our group and get comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable! Probably my favorite bed I've slept in. I want to come back with an even bigger group to really take advantage of the space and Lander! Thanks for the hosts for being responsive to our requests and making sure we had what we needed for our stay.

This is a great property centrally located in downtown Lander. We stayed in the Penthouse and the Farmhouse. The Farmhouse does not have air conditioning! While I loved the property, I cannot recommend this hotel due to the poor management. We were not provided check-in instructions prior to arrival. It was not communicated that it was a self-service hotel with no on site management, not that there was no A/C. We only got into the units because a cleaning staff member showed up after we were there 1.5 hours waiting. The manager was absent and combative when questioned about services.

We were blessed to stay at the Mill House in 2022. It was clean, comfortable and BEAUTIFUL! We stayed there while in between homes, after selling our house. It was perfect. It took the stress off us and allowed us to relax. It’s quiet even though it’s next to Main Street. The place is beautifully styled and the beds very comfortable. We had ages ranging from 5-43 with us. We all were happy to stay there.

NOT RECOMMENDED. The esthetics were very cool and thoughtful. The practical side of actually staying there. No Good.|NOONE is there to check u in. In a heatwave of 98 degrees no way to get a human on text, email, or call. After 1.5 hours of waiting in parking lot a housekeeper popped out an assisted. No return AT ALL FROM OFFICE. NO Air conditioning. After calling office after our trip she never apologized for a thing. For $200 a night and no air with a big attitude and tod us quote...."sorry we're not perfect like you"|REALLY? No customer service at all.

Spend a weekend up in Lander Wyoming with a couple of buddies. We stayed here at the Millhouse for a couple of nights. Such a cool area!!!! Restaurants and bars right across the street. Everything was in walking distance, the millhouse itself was very clean and would highly recommend staying here over any of the close my hotels. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

My husband and I have driven from Denver through Lander, WY on our way to Jackson Hole, where we visit family. Now that our family has moved on we no longer have reason to go up that way. However we like road trips and having been through Lander before we thought it might be worth making it a destination for a few days.||||As is usual for us, we like to find unique lodging so we chose The Mill House and the Penthouse loft. All the reviews we found by Googling were absolutely positive and so we were.very excited for the visit.||||And the reviews were spot on. We were just delighted as soon as we opened the door and light flooded into the dim stairwell. The space is huge and the decor outstanding. No expense seemed to have been spared. And the open floor plan - one big bedroom/living room with a large kitchen alcove and a simple bathroom off to the side (with a door for privacy) - all-in-all makes great use of the more than adequate space.||||The decor works very well with this historical space and creates something very very unique and desirable. About as upscales as you would find, especially in a very small town. And beyond the Penthouse there are bars and restaurants within a few yards! There is even a wonderful Italian restaurant below should crossing the street be too much : )||||Keep in mind that while the decor is terrific, it is juxtaposed with window views of rooftops, parking lots and traffic. But the comfort and loveliness of this loft style lodging makes window views quite irrelevant except for the always stunning western sunset framed by it’s kitchen window. And then too be prepared for a two and a half story climb to the Penthouse and be advised that the bed is on risers so is a bit of a hop up for short persons like myself.||||You have to book this space if you are staying in Lander. Period. A solid five stars from very experienced road trip experts.

I came to Lander to visit my son in March of 2020. The Mill House was a wonderful place to stay, and a great refuge during these difficult times. It was immaculate and incredibly comfortable. The "Penthouse" was well appointed with a kitchen that had everything that we needed (including locally roasted delicious Wyoming coffee!). Jessica helped us and was wonderful - accessible, helpful, knowledgeable, flexible. I will happily return.
