The room was clean and there was a choice of 3 different pillows on the bed which is great for us! The bathroom could use a good updating but it was clean. The staff was very courteous. There was a pool that looked nice too. We didn't have time to try it out. The outside was very well kept. They also had a decent breakfast. Overall a nice place to refresh and get some sleep.

If I could give a 0 I would! Horrible experience! My dad reserved 3 rooms for a stop on the way down to Alabama for family trip with my siblings and all of his grandchildren. We checked in and brought our luggage to the rooms. In one of the bathrooms there were roaches crawling on the walls of the shower and by the vanity. We immediately went to the front desk and my parents were told that being close to the woods, sometimes that happens. The woman at the front desk was very kind and assured us that their reservation was canceled and all would be credited and to check their card. That was on March 22nd and they have yet to receive a refund. We had several young children with us and as we were leaving in the lobby there was a woman with her hands down her pants - not something you’d like children to see. My niece who is 9 years old asked what the woman was doing! So disappointed that it has taken this long to resolve the issue. So disappointed with the whole experience!

Terrific Stay! Perfect for our overnight, very friendly, efficient, clean and accomodating! ||There is a basic continental breakfast with was well stocked by a friendly staff woman. ||Our room #127 was prepared for us early,l fir a small fee, which was appreciated as our stalled RV was in for repair. It was very clean, updated and confortable for the night.||We had several interactions with Billie Jo, who went above recommending restaurants, shopping...and was so efficient, she was great having our room readied fast! She went beyond to assure we were well taken care of -- excellent employee for the organization. ||A+ Stay here and let Billie Jo treat you right!

BJ the General Manager is the best. She goes above and beyond for the customer. She is one of the most professional people that I have ever spoken to.
Also, Jennifer is amazing also. Very likable. I like the entire staff. They go above and beyond to make your stay great. They are easy to talk to. They are down to earth people and they really care about the customers and their needs. Also, the breakfast is much better now. You have a lot more options to choose from. I've stayed at maybe 20 different hotels in Birmingham and this one is definitely #1.

While on a bus trip heading to New Orleans, we stopped overnight at this Microtel Inn. Check-in was easy. The rooms were very small, but clean. The bathroom was also very small. It was hard to get dressed in there without running into the walls. ||The breakfast area was nice with a good selection. It seated approximately 25 people which wasn't enough for a bus with 46 people, plus others that were staying at this hotel. Again, everything was very clean. The attendant kept everything filled up and made sure there was always coffee available.||On the way home from New Orleans, we stayed here again and had another very nice stay.

The hotel is average (3.5 ⭐️). The rooms are bigger than I expected though you can tell the place is dated and in need of updating. I was happy with the bed and pillows as everything felt clean. The shower electrical in our room had a little issue and kept going out. The tub/shower stopper on the faucet didn’t work and so you could only take a shower (no issue for me, but others would have liked the bath).|TV is mounted about the wardrobe, which was a little weird, but allowed for some extra desk space. We had a little seating area by the window so didn’t use that at all.|If you’re in the area and need a place to stay for a night or 2 that’s cheaper than others, this is an option. Overall, would stay here again as it’s convenient to a lot of stuff nearby and easy to get to. It’s also in a good area so safety is nice.

Parking was plentiful. Not too far from freeway, yet no freeway noise was heard. Easy check-in. Comfy and clean guest room. We were happy there were adequate amount of towels. Nice breakfast area with variety of items and was kept neat and tidy.

If I could give even more stars I would. The location is excellent, and the rooms were SO clean. Breakfast was very good, there are waffles and breakfast sandwiches, fruit cereal etc.
The front desk attendant, Shawn, was kind, upbeat, very informative and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Wyndham is lucky to have such a wonderful associate employed with them!
10/10 A great place to stay.
