As budget hotels go, this hotel, I think, met its two-star rating. It is undergoing some renovation, so the finishes are in a mixed state. The carpets and walls are kind of old, but clearly, their breakfast area was recently updated. The third floor was closed for renovations. The carpet on the lower floors looks old. but it is okay. The room was simply appointed, but clean. The beds were comfortable. The heating worked, There is a small fridge; there are a couple of drawers, and a small coat closet with some hangers and a small desk. Lighting is either overly bright and not very controllable, not very comfortable, but adequate. Power for your electronics was inconvenient, but thanks to my having long wires, I could make do with what the room provided in the way of outlets. There wasn't much place so our travel suitcases were open on the floor. They offer Roku TV service, so there wasn't any TV. It was best to log into your home service. The fitness center is very basic, but the treadmill was on the fritz, as was the TV in the room, but we were still able to get a reasonable workout with the equipment that was available. There is a (filtered) water fountain in the room that provides the best-tasting water in the hotel (and I used it to source water for tea and my water bottle). Breakfast is included, but frankly, if you're into breakfast, there are much better spots to go to nearby. I found the offerings very basic and borderline. They had scrambled eggs and sausage, a pancake machine, basic supermarket-quality stuff, packets of oatmeal, and stuff like that. I partook in some of it, but really, I could pass. The coffee and hot machine tasted bad, and I passed on that. Service was friendly, as I found everyone in Cheyenne, though in the end, not terribly effective, but not bad either. Just not equipped to provide anything more than the very basics that the hotel has. I was not uncomfortable, and as such, I think the hotel delivered good value for what I paid.

The room was clean and comfortable. Check in and out was easy. All employees were kind and courteous. The only thing we had trouble with was the tv. I consider myself to be pretty savvy with technology, but it was just hard to figure out. It would have been great to use our own tv apps, but we couldn’t get the tv to connect properly with the phone. That is really our only complaint.

Great hotel for a quick stay! The breakfast was really good, room we got was a little small but everything else in the room was nice & clean! Staff was amazing & helpful for our needs! Loved how close it was to downtown too! 3 min drive

The staff was very pleasant and friendly.
The breakfast was one of the nicer free breakfasts I've ever had at a motel! Options included yogurt, cold cereal, milk (1% & 2%), scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, bread, muffins, and probably more that I forgot about. And of course there were juice and coffee options as well as tea!
Our room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. We did have an issue with the heater in our room but it didn't affect our sleep.
The only other issue we had was with the exercise equipment but to be honest I never asked for help with it because I didn't really "need" to use the equipment, so there may have been an easy solution.
We would absolutely stay here again! For the price, I would say this stay exceeded the expectation that came with the price tag! ❤️

Stayed here couple nights, was definitely an upgrade from night prior in crummy hotel down the street. Clean room and great staff. Bed is very comfortable. Have a nice breakfast bar.

Horrible experience. We understand this hotel is currently being renovated but the hotel has not updated their room photos for booking. We specifically reserved a room that had carpet because our dog has issues walking on tile/wood and all of the rooms have had the carpet ripped out and laminate wood was placed. If your going to remodel, you have to update your photos. This is considered per Federal Trade Commission laws as False Advertisment. After a night of our dog shaking from anxiety and being unable to walk in the room, we were told no type of partial refund or credit would be provided because "we are under renovations, so nothing has been updated" even though 2/3rds of the rooms are done with the remodel. Will be filing a report with the FTC for false advertisement and with the Better Business Buero. Next time I drive to Cheyenne for work, I'll choose to drive the hour trip home in the middle of the night because it will be less stressful than dealing with this crappy hotel. Would leave negative 5 stars if I could.

I’m not one to leave reviews; however, this was an unacceptable stay in Cheyenne, WY.

The hotel was under renovation (understandable). The employees and construction crews left the mess at all hours for guests to walk through. There were nails, drywall chunks, trim pieces and carpet remnants EVERYWHERE! I tend to be pretty lenient on these things but this was ridiculous and most importantly not a safe environment for kids (or adults) to be passing through. If they were actively working on the area I would understand, but I never once say a construction worker during my 3 night stay there-yet the mess never improved.

Side note: the carpets were absolutely disgusting as well.

Honestly? The room was filthy. The place had definitely not been wiped down, outside of the typical necessaries. But that makes me suspect of how clean those were.
There were greasy fingerprints and smudges everywhere. But the worst was, the sheets had not been changed. They changes the pillowcases only. I found tons of black hairs in the bed, down by where the feet are, so that would be leg hair. Gross. I had a 10pm check-in and had to go down and get clean sheets and put them on myself.
