Positive: Clean sheets. Fresh towels and the doors/windows locked. Negative: The location is sketchy. Lots of homeless people and folks living full time in the place. Kind of run down but good for the price. NOT THE KIND OF PLACE YOUD WANT TO CHECK INTO AFTER DARK.

Absolutely NOT what we expected. They tried to change our reservation the day we got there, because they claimed the room we originally booked wldnt be available unless we were okay with staff letting us in and out of our room because they can't find the key to the room and only had one and weren't willing to give it to the guest. The whole place is Very sketchy. Honestly by the vibe it gave.. between the smells, cleanliness and staff attitude the place is probably rented out by the hour under the table or something. Very nasty place.

Stayed at Merced Inn and Suites, and it was honestly a great experience. The guy at the front desk, Manny, was super nice and really helpful with booking my room. Gotta say, he was pretty hunky too lol. The room itself was big, clean, and smelled good which way better than I expected. If I could give it 10 stars, I totally would!

Honestly would never return, service was horrific. The front desk lady that was just hired and works morning to late afternoons is the biggest menace at this establishment. I don’t know names but she’s a light mixed Indian American lady. She was very sarcastic, disrespectful, and straight up rude to both me and my wife. On multiple occasions screaming at me and her for simple things like needing more toilet paper or needing the keycards fixed. I’m literally in between housing as of now and I’d still rather live on the streets and not come back because of how horrible the service was!

Positive: NOTHING Negative: Mold all around tub. No toilet paper. Garbage in drawers. No phone. tv didnt work. People trying to break into window. absoulte filth. When i complained they triedto keep my deposit. Unfortunately I was stuck there so could not go to another hotel.

You can get anything here, you know, cos the fast food and mini marts are so conveniently nearby. There's definitely NOT drugs totally available (just ask around, you know 😉).

All of these negative reviews are from people going into this place with the wrong expectations. Is it outdated? Yes. Are there various stains? Yes. Is the clientele a bit bedraggled? Yes. But are the fundamentals for sleeping comfortably there, and are the people working there kind, and is there an effort to provide nice services despite the cheap price? Yes! The beds were clean and nice; the staff at the front desk was very helpful; and best of all they provided a real, free breakfast, plus snacks and good coffee. Overall a very good value from a hotel on the up swing.
