I used to eat here a lot when my work took me up and down 99. Revisited with my wife whose judgment was "Tired and Worn out. Overstaffed. Some of the staff was Not Charlie Hustle." I think she is right. In fairness, our busser was quick. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast which was heavy on the "chicken fry" and light on the "steak". We took a lot home, and the meals worked a lot better as leftovers. Maybe because expectations had lowered. 3 5, but I may give it a second chance due to my memories and tasted better as leftovers.

This was our 2nd time here. I'm always skeptical about "breakfast" steaks, but this one is good! I usually go for the sirloin, but it's only a 6oz cut, so I did the 12oz ribeye instead. Glad I did! It was tender and cooked medium rare, just liked I ask for. It could have used more seasoning, but that's just me. The potatoes w/onions, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, hashbrowns and even the coffee, were all on point. They have a full array of condiments, syrup and flavored creamers on the tables. The staff is super nice and on top of it. Now, this place is in Selma and we live in Clovis, but it is definitely worth the drive.

This was a 5 star plus experience for a coffee shop. Portions were big! Come hungry!
Food was great, typical cozy coffee shop atmosphere, with excellent service.
I travel from coast to coast and never have I had service like this. They are second to none.
The staff is on it. You won't go hungry or thirsty here.
If you are ever in Selma, give them a shot.

Ordered a steak and egg breakfast for me and a biscuit and gravy for my grandpa at home. Went to pick up and didn’t realize only my breakfast was in our bag. I ended up giving him it and just was super disappointed in the service that was provided. How do you read back an order correctly over the phone and not make sure the whole order is in the bag before it’s paid for.

I was excited to revisit this place, but the staff is too loud talking about personal matter and service disagreement. The place is really busy, but the staff find time to be texting on their phones and not paying attention to the customers. The tip is charged separately, and they charge you a checkout fee.
Definitely not going back.
First time visiting
Don't get fool for the look of this outdated restaurant.
The service is excellent, staff is super friendly and on top of their customers needs. The food is fresh and delicious. I will totally stop by again.

Ordered the Mexicali omelet and house potatoes with pancakes. Great spot for breakfast helpful staff and friendly town. Omelet and potatoes were very good, pancakes were ok and could be more fluffy, overall I would definitely recommend others to try.

Had the meat loaf dinner with some tasteless brown gravy. Mash potatoes were cold and again tasteless. They forgot the vegetable which was the only tasteful food in the meal. The waitress never came over to check on us and had to get up to ask for assistance several times. Last time I'm spending my money here!!

We’ve been going there for a good meals and a friendly atmosphere!
The food is delicious but the the waitresses are e so friendly and welcoming!!!
