Family and friends had already recommended Mauve, and while we were slightly skeptical, we left beyond impressed! The owners and staff are amazing! It was a great place to chill and have a cocktail. The drinks are creative and delicious. We didn't get any food but they have a really intriguing menu with great snack and appetizer choices. Atmosphere was calming and it was very nicely decorated.

Had 3 cocktails, all were well prepared and delicious. Had 2 small plates and they were excellent. The place is tastefully embellished. The front is south facing, and during the day, there is a lot of sunlight, which kind of makes it feel “strip mall” like. Some dark tint would cozy it up. I will be returning with friends.

Ngl this spot is really cool... I like the nice ambiance setting immediately after you enter. Not a large space but it doesn't feel cramped at all. It's a limited food menu so just got the guacamole and chips 8.8. The chips come out very warm and they give you a nice-sized serving of guac too. I ordered there old-fashioned and the bartender did her thing with this one. Not only was the presentation amazing but the drink itself was one of the best I've had in the city 9.5. The customer service was amazing very attentive and took care of me the entire visit. I will definitely make this my spot I visit frequently when out this way overall 9.2

Fantastic place for a date. Reasonable prices. Great food! The owner will greet every customer and make sure they feel welcome. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed but did the best job she could. Definitely would recommend and come back.

Mauve never fails to impress! The owners, Nick & Kala, really brought something special to town and are two of the most welcoming people. This place has become our local hot spot for date night. They have the BEST old fashioned I have ever tasted (and I've tasted many), I like to order it smoked. The food is always delicious as well.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place! Every single time we have come here we have had beyond amazing service, drinks and food. Also every time we have had a special cocktail recommended by the owner we have been blown away by the taste and his knowledge of cocktails. He said it right "bringing you Chicago style cocktails for a shorewood price". 10/10 recommend this place for any occasion just maybe not a kids party lol.
