Great food and great service! There were around 30 of us and the entire Mason’s crew was great from start to finish. Very friendly and the food came out quick. Thanks for a great meal!!!

My favorite spot in the area. Highly recommend the ribs and pulled pork, i want to try more but i always go with one of those because they're so good!! Love the cornbread and everything else!

We had a great meal. We went early on Friday for lunch. The food was hot and fresh. The BBQ was tasty. I had the catfish, it was so good and plenty of food. I took extra home. The sides were plentiful. You gotta try this place. It is worth your visit. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Our server was very attentive. Our drinks were always full.

First of all, the food was outstanding. The catfish is flaky and breaded just right. The pulled pork plate is delicious as well. Now the negatives. Number one- it was actually quite hot in the restaurant. We visited in February and the temperature outside was around 70 degrees. It was considerably hotter in the restaurant. When we paid, the next negative hit. There was a convenience fee of 1.47 (on a roughly $54 tab) for using a credit card. That is typical. Then, there was a $2.95 convenience fee for who knows what? I don't know what the fee is for. We dined in, so it wasn't a "to go" fee. You don't receive your receipt until after you pay, so I wasn't able to ask. While the food is really good, I feel that the ghost convenience fees may doom Mason's to unemployment sooner rather than later. While we were there, there were only two other customers on a Saturday afternoon. This is unfortunate, as the food was really good. The business of business may be their weak spot and ultimate demise.

I really wasn't impressed with Mason's. I came to order a BBQ potato and the server waited until we had all been sitting for a few minutes, decided what we wanted, got our drinks, and ordered a potato to tell us they were out of potatoes.

That being said the catfish was really, very good.

The loaded nachos, pulled pork sandwich, and potato salad weren't my favorite.

Don’t order the nachos. The biggest nacho disappointment of my life. The photo is not what you get. No toppings whatsoever. The chips are stale and chewy. Please rework your macaroni and cheese, I took one bite of nothing but boiled noodles without flavor and had to spit it out. It’s hard to mess up macaroni and cheese, especially in the south, but these folks managed it. 2 stars because the owner seemed very nice.

My bbg sandwich was lukewarm , not the temperature I expected.The jalapeño hush puppies were small and not spicy.

Not worth the money I spent. All the food is overpriced.
Did not have the two items I originally would have ordered and one was a daily special. Not good.

Wow! Reviews are correct some of the best fried catfish! Our group had bbq sandwiches, spare ribs, fried catfish and cheezeburger. Sides were fries, fried okra, baked beans and collards greens. Everything was delicious.
