This is a very nice place to have weddings, receptions & memorials. They have a full Kitchen set up & a full bar. The ladies who were there on Sunday were bright & happy. They met us at the door & directed us to our event. I will keep this place in mind for my next party. Enjoyed the whole venue.

I really wouldn't call it an event center. It's the Pittsburgh Elks Lodge, if you remember or you're willing to pay the fee, you can rent their rooms for various birthdays weddings receptions and whatnot, they have an excellent commercial kitchen on site. And a fully stocked bar. Caterers are welcome to use the in-house kitchen, assuming they clean up after themselves, also I believe there is a catering service that's available through the elks. But that may only be for members. Just an FYI to any mobile DJs, get ready to run long cables. The rooms are rectangular, with some weird shapes for exit doors, it create the necessity to tape down cables. Trying to have speakers in just the front of the room, will not work that well. They're in-house sound system is barely possible for spoken voice, it's a cobble together 70 volt line with chinese-made wireless microphones. And has no versatility and is not allowed to be connected into by any other contractor or dj.

In general it's a lot like all the other rental venues that are around, your basic table and chairs covered with nice linen it looks presentable. And reminds me of probably one of the hundred other places that I DJ at a wedding or a party.

Great building and a great group of people who do good things in the community. I went to a few of the Elks dinners. There was also a bags/corn hole tournament! Great stories!

If I can give zero stars I would. I've tried so many times to reach out to schedule for an event. I've tried calling, leaving voicemails, texts message, and email and haven't heard back other then 1 email from Kelly who stated she would reach out the next day and never did. I went to the location and Kelly who is the event rental manager wasn't there. That was the same day I thought I would hear from her. I tried calling multiple times today and I was forwarded to voicemail. I wish I could have been able to speak and communicate with someone and not feel ignored.

I give zero stars.. I've contacted so many times to schedule for an event and haven't heard back.. I've also sent emails,texts and called the number listed and haven't heard back when I went to the location the lady in charge of events wasn't there the person I actually spoke to said to be a little patient and she'll get back to me... That was two weeks ago.. I tried calling today and my call was sent to voicemail. No respect for others and their time.. I would not book here highly unprofessional.

The facility is gorgeous. It has beautiful views of the harbor which makes it great for outdoor weddings. The staff is very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to ensure your event will be everything you want it to be.
