Was worried that this coffee shop would be just another spot with beautiful interiors/vibes and soso coffee, but that was definitely not the case!

Didn’t expect their Rose Vanilla Latte to be one of my new favorite lattes in the city! Perfect temperature , silky texture, and sweetness, just hit the spot! They use beans from Heart Roasters based in Portland and make their rose vanilla syrup in house. Funny part was, I was not even going to order this because im not usually a fan of floral syrups as I find them a bit too overpowering, but the barista was so kind to offer a taste of the syrup just to make sure I liked it before ordering it.

The shop is even more beautiful then the pictures show. So much natural lighting (especially on the beautiful spring day I visited on), warm interiors, friendly staff, and overall peaceful garden type of vibe.

There is no wifi here which I think is nice to encourage just enjoying the beautiful interiors and talking to the kind people in the shop. They also offer a stamp card, which I will be definitely be using, highly recommend this spot!

Marigold cafe is located to the side of Marigold flower shop. Cute space with a tight coffee menu. I had the capuchino and it was fantastic. One of the better coffees I have had in the city. Will definitely come back to try their rose latte.

Came on a weekday and grabbed coffee with a friend. Ordered and waited on the parklet for our order. Pretty decent shade and wind protection.

We ordered a matcha latte and a rose latte, both of which were very disappointing. The matcha latte tasted like pure milk with no matcha flavor at all, and the rose latte had an overpowering, pungent taste and was very watered down. For $7.06 a drink, expected much better. A real letdown. Aesthetics are nice but drinks are NASTY. Also service is not great the guy seemed rude

I was excited to go to this cafe because of the cute atmosphere and ambiance.

However, I want to make a few business notes to the owner that could improve this cafe:

I had to wait about 30 minutes for a cappuccino. This is because there was only one barista who had been on break (and therefore the entire cafe closed). When she came back, there was a huge line.

During this time, I watched multiple potential customers leave because the wait time took so long.

Then, there is only outdoor seating, so this discourages the coworking culture frequently found at cafes where one customer might consistently visit and buy multiple coffees, lunch, etc. Each table only has two uncomfortable chairs, so groups are unlikely to visit and study together, get afternoon coffee, etc.

If you want to provide quality services, you need to decide whether you are a flower shop/small items shop or a cafe.

There is space that the cafe could be expanded to provide indoor seating (and make your business less variable based on weather), provide lunch or more pastries, and hire more baristas. This would be a more effective use of space than having a small shop that's only open a few days per week.

I think just expanding the cafe in these ways would make you a huge staple in this little Mission neighborhood and a treasured place for local friend groups and families.

Delightful little coffee shop at the back of a flower shop. Friendly service, very good coffee drinks. I haven't tried their pastries yet but they look nice. Ambiance in the morning is sunny and very pleasant.
