Love that the space isn't so huge but rather cozy, and that the lights are a soft yellow instead of the bright white florescent. Also, Courtney was so sweet and doubled checked to make sure she had our gluten free order right. Overall, very happy with what we got

Absolutely love this place!! Small hidden gem! Everything is delicious and fresh. They bring bread out to the table when you arrive and have infused olive oil, parmesan, and pepper on the table so you can dip your bread. The wine is outstanding and compliments the food perfectly. Vodka sauce is the best I've ever had anywhere. Service is always wonderful. Can't recommend this place enough.

We hadn’t been in awhile, and our return did not disappoint! We love Maria’s Little Italy! If you haven’t been - go! Their pesto, their vodka sauce with gnocchi, and try the arancini! So good!

Maria’s did not disappoint! The Rigatoni Vodka Sauce prepared by Chef Millie was amazing! The meatballs were a great compliment to my meal, and my palate enjoyed the experience!!! Next time you’re in DeKalb / Sycamore and tired of doing the same thing for dinner, give Maria’s Little Italy a try. You will not be disappointed! 🇮🇹🍝

First time here was an amazing experience, I talked about this “hole in the wall” none stop at work and with friends and family. Portions were amazing and delicious flavor on top of great service. SECOND visit was totally the absolute worst experience my husband and I ever went through. This is in fact my first one start review. Stood by the door for over 10 minutes with no greeting while 3 servers looked at me. Finally they told me to sit myself. Ordered the same meal as last time that came with two small pieces of chicken parm and they brought out a 3 oz piece of chicken. I told her I didn’t want that and the manager refused to comp it. I get it everything is going up in price but if you’re not letting your customers know about changes then issues like this will continue to happen. Both manager and server were very rude and unpleasant. Will definitely spread the word about this horrible experience.

She had such a warm, professional demeanor that truly elevated the dining experience. The food was excellent, but her exceptional service is what will bring us back. Recently got our wedding food from here and it was an AMAZING choice. All of our guests loved it and we were happy to share that they are welcome to come to the storefront and dine in to get this outstanding food once again!
