Really enjoyed my stay...Maria called to share how to get in, the room was clean and well-kept, breakfast was good, and access to trails was great. The religious iconography around the room and common areas was a bit thick, and I had to listen to her husband tell me about his view of the economics of the state (and the federal government's fault with it)...but I'll still give it 5 stars.

This was my second stay at Maria's B&B. The spacious room and private bath were spectacularly clean. My two-day stay helped me prepare for a medical procedure that went well. Thank you, Maria and Robert! I hope to see you both on my next visit to Anchorage.

Wonderful B&B! Maria and Robert were lovely hosts. The room is clean and very comfortable. Full bathroom on suite. Small refrigerator, keurig coffee machine, queen-size bed.
Conveniently located close to ANMC, only 5-6 min drive,
Serves a hot breakfast. Ours were eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and english muffin.
Very homey atmosphere.
Definitely make this one of my go-to places to stay.

This review is far overdue (sorry)! We came here as the first stop on our honeymoon in July 2021. There were rose petals leading to our door, treats in the fridge, and a beautiful card waiting for us when we arrived. The food, company, and setting were superb ? We felt so welcomed and cared for and will never forget our stay. Thank you for your hospitality - we can't wait to return!!

Host was helpful and kind. We stayed just for one night between Homer and Talkeetna trips so didn’t have time for breakfast, but they offered a full service meal. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean and had everything you needed- and nice towels! The outside did not do justice to the inside. Inside is tidy and charmingly decorated. Located in town, close to airport and restaurants. There is a park and walking area around the creek behind the home.

Cute, quiet BnB that is right in Anchorage but is nestled in a wooded area with a walking path to other park areas. When we were there in August there were salmon swimming upstream to spawn. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and appointed with period furnishings. We used Maria's as a base to explore Anchorage, ride the train and take tours to see glaciers and hiking trails. I highly recommend. We will stay here again,

This was by far one of the best decisions my wife and I have made. We absolutely loved spending time here. There are so many specials touches that make this B & B perfect for a getaway. The location is perfect - right up against a beautiful park. We spent many hours exploring and just taking the beautiful scenery in. The hosts are amazing. The best part of the trip was spending time with them while enjoying breakfast in the morning. Especially in these hard times, it’s nearly impossible walking away with an excellent customer service experience. We felt we had that and much more. We felt at home. Maria’s homemade breakfast was great!! Tip: Request her hash browns. We will be back, and you should give it a try too!! These are good people who do it right. I won’t stay anywhere else while in Anchorage.
