There is something very special about this place. Deb has a gift for hosting, and cares a great deal for her guests. Some of the more important chapters in mine and my wife's story have been experienced here. We have been three times and will continue to visit in the future. She leaves us delicious treats in our room when we check in and the conversation and home made breakfasts are fantastic. It truly is an experience!

Deborah and Tim are excellent hosts. They both work very hard to make sure that your stay is memorable, and when you stay at their place, you feel like you are on a vacation since they do all of the work. They are also great people to talk to, and we had some great conversations. This was my second time at the Maple Leaf Cottage Inn, and I will be returning many more times. If you have never been to bed and breakfast, this is the place to visit. Not only are the hosts great, but the rooms are excellent as well; very clean and cozy. I'm looking forward to our next stay!

We stayed at the Maple Leaf Cottage Inn this weekend for Valentine's Day. The owner Deb met us outside, even though we arrived in the evening and it was very cold. She acquainted us with our room, the Wash House, and even brought us popcorn! The room was so quaint and the bed was so comfortable. We stayed two nights and were served two delicious breakfasts. On Saturday afternoon Deb even brought us bread pudding, which was divine! There were several touches that let us know that Deb is so sincere in her hospitality. She gave us cookies for Valentines day, offered us historical information about the area and made sure we were comfortable with extra space heaters because it was 0 most of the weekend. We were able to stay warm and comfy despite the weather. We can't wait to go back and visit again!

My girlfriends and I stayed at the Maple Leaf Cottage Inn. To say that we were impressed is an understatement. Deb and Tim were the nicest host and hostess. Deb met us when we pulled up and showed us around our room which was immaculate. We went out and when we returned there was a tray of little goodies left for us. When we got up Sunday morning for breakfast (it was raining), there was an umbrella left inside our door so we wouldn't get wet taking the short walk to the main building for an amazing home cooked breakfast. We will be returning for sure!

It was wonderful. Room was sooooo comfortable. I loved talking with the lady who helps manage the place. The place was quiet. Just what I needed. Took a hot soaking bath in an old tub. Breakfast was a a great meal. Just great. Sausage, smoothie, etc. Don't typically eat much, but this was worth it. Recommend highly.
Elsa is an old river town with historic old homes and businesses.

This bed and breakfast is the best place I've ever stayed. The rooms are so very cute and the village itself is quaint. Deb, is such a sweet hostess. She, and her husband, Tim, are the nicest, sweetest, most wonderful humans I've ever met. They were both so helpful during our stay and a lot of fun to talk to at night. I would highly recommend staying here for any traveling plans you have, my husband I decided to make this trip a yearly thing and stay here each time.

Perhaps the most welcoming and interesting B&B we've ever found. Elsah is truly unique, and the Maple Leaf Cottage Inn is also one of a kind. Funky and eclectic, and warm an inviting at the same time. We stayed in the Wash House and highly recommend it. Deborah, the owner and innkeeper, exemplified the term "Southern Hospitality", and her breakfast was out of this world! When we went to leave, we found that we had a flat tire. Deborah could not have been more helpful, reaching out to the town's maintenance department to get us rolling, and calling her husband to help get a recommendation for a tire shop down the road. Thanks so very much for a wonderful experience!

This place is fantastic, it is so easy to find but once there you feel like you're in a completely different time and place. It is incredibly relaxing, we stayed in the Buggy Shop which was cute and cozy. I would recommend a stay in any of the Maple Leaf Cottage Inn rooms, Deb and Tim do a beautiful job of making sure their guests feel right at home.
