I don't mind bad hotels and I mean bad to give you a frame of mind I read these reviews and still thought why not can it really be that bad. Then I called to see if they got a room and the price. It goes to their answering service, and it's a whole bizarre one of the strangest phone calls in my life, call yourself and ask about availability you'll see what I mean. Anyhow a reservation is made cash is ok 55 dollars blah blah I'm sending a link pay now to save 3 dollars ... I'm like yeah that's ok I'll pay cash. Good decision, because when I arrive the first thing I hear is "85 night!" Language barrier, or he wasn't even having it moreso because I'm like I called there's a reservation... "no 85!" Im laughing like so who did I talk to on the phone with he's from your company. For a moment I'm like did I really talk to the hotel but yes it's not like some scam or someone pretending to be the hotel they went on and on about hotel rules details blah blah and moreso they suggested cash is fine themselves that would be a very strange scam suggesting someone NOT give a credit card to them, actually on second thought based on what happened the actual hotel is itself a scam in fact they'll even do it in person when you arrive!.... Mindblowing stuff... anyways all he would yell back through the bulletproof glass is "NO PHONE! 85!!!!". He was very unlikeable screaming at me but I think he was actually very kind trying to spare me the pain of staying there and thank goodness he did because some other hotel I ended up at down the road was also roughly 85 but much nicer so I appreciate him. One thing is for sure PAY CASH ON ARRIVAL if you must I don't even know would have happened if I paid ahead he didn't even let me get a word in or acknowledge the possibility of a reservation I'm sure he would have demanded 85 in full regardless of whatever was paid already.

Front desk is rude, barely spoke English, manager is not helpful, rooms are dirty, doors are messed up, no fridge in room, no microwave, bugs crawling inside drawers. I really don't appreciate the kind of service that is going on here. Do not book online, the computer system doesn't go through due to low price. They will cancel your reservation is booked online. Had to call customer support, front desk person did not even want to cooperate. Please save your money, patience, time, and spare them because this place is horrible. They don't take credit/debit cards either. Overall, we ended up staying and getting the room because we had nowhere to go, but spare yourself the trouble and get something way nicer.

So me and my mom were homeless and we went to hillside manor so they gave us keys to room 39 and my mom ended up passing away in that room and now it is burned up but I never liked the place something was telling me that the place seemed off or haunted or up to no good if your looking for a hotel room do not go here it is haunted or something is wrong

I sit and read the reviews lately and believe me guys, nothing has changed. When I checked in, I was charged another 20 dollars, because, in their opinion, I paid too little for online booking. The next time I returned to them the next day on my truck. They said they couldn't let me park my truck in the parking space,because hotel very busy, but there were only three cars in the parking space. I found a parking space for my truck a mile away from the hotel. And when I returned on foot, they told me that the reservation was canceled and wished me a good trip. I believe that the hotel team is simply mocking their guests.This becomes clear based on their attitude and the quality of the rooms.This hotel is the worst and smelliest place I have ever spent a night in. If possible, avoid this place by all possible means. If you have any respect for yourself, do not stay in this hotel under any circumstances.

I usually don’t leave reviews but The front desk manager is a scam artist, rude, unprofessional, and aggressive. I honestly have never experienced this kind of wickedness. I proceeded to the front desk to check in and this evil man told he would not accept my booking via Expedia because I reserved my room at a low price. I apologized and expressed that should be taking up with Expedia but tonight my booking should not be denied. He turned around and looked at me with like he wanted to physically hurt me. I have never been so scared in my life. Please do not book here.

Our room was so gross didn’t last ten minutes in there before fleeing! The sink was covered in someone’s hair and so was the sheet. There were signs of bedbugs when I pulled back the sheets. The bathtub was stained and rusted - I would never have gotten in it. Completely disgusting. Tried to charge us $40 more than the price we booked at, but did promptly refund us when we told them the room was uninhabitable.

The hotel is outdated. We were given a room that reeked so strongly of cigarette smoke that we couldn’t breathe after just 2 steps inside. We requested a room change, and they moved us to another one with the same odor, or perhaps slightly less. The bed was so repulsive that we lay on it fully clothed, avoiding getting under the sheets due to the extreme level of disgust. Both beds in the rooms had sheets torn from burns. The bathroom was no different, it was so disgusting that we preferred not to bathe until we reached the next hotel. In my opinion, the hotel rates 0/10.
