I was traveling, passing through Robertsdale with family, and was seeking somewhere to eat a good Sunday meal. Google led us here. We staked out a bit and just watched the patrons. This restaurant appeared to be popular with the locals, so we decided to try it. It was buffet style with a variety of veggies and meats to choose from. They also had peach cobbler and bread pudding for dessert selections. I made a sampler plate, so to speak... a spoonful of peas, dressing, mac-n-cheese, cream corn, and bread pudding. My son enjoyed his meal of roast beef and turnips. For me, the mac-n-cheese was the spotlight of the meal. Everything else was just ok. The one major drawback was the gnats that were resting on the cranberry sauce on the buffet. The servers were kind about it and brought fresh sauce from the kitchen. The people there were all extremely nice and attentive. That made the experience a decent one.

Incredible homestyle cooked food. I just experienced the best baked Mac n Cheese I've had in over 30 years!

Wooden walls give it a unique old fashioned atmosphere and feel. Chicken was quite nice, and absolutely loved the fish on Tuesday.

Victoria and Dan have done such a great job with this place. We are so happy to have this hidden gem in our little town.

Enjoyed our meal here today. I had browsed many local restaurants but wanted a home style meal since we are wintering in the area. Was greeted by a very cheery wait staff and owner is very nice and welcoming. We will definitely e back again soon. I had seen other reviews with pictures of dressing and found out they have it on Sundays . Looking forward to many more delicious meals!

I have eaten there before and the food is constantly good. They have good variety with some items there daily and some change. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Good southern comfort food.

Friendly and Attentive.
Large Restuarant hidden on Pine Street.
A Hideaway one street from the main highway.
Owner comes out & Thanks everyone for coming to his restaurant and ask how things were. Very Appreciative and humble.

My husband and I love Mama Lou’s. The food is delicious. I have one request, please use less salt ! Some of the food is a little too salty. Otherwise, the variety of food is top notch, kudos to mama Lou’s
