Hubby and I enjoyed our 2 night stay at this lodge. The views were beautiful.|We were out most of the day and our dinners were in nearby restaurants. But, we did enjoy their breakfast buffet. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a glass of wine on their deck in the evening while enjoying the views. The room reminded me of cabins in the national parks we visited, it was clean and comfy. We had 2 beds and a bathroom, there was a public area with the fridge and a keurig coffee maker. I would stay again.

Beautifully set in the mountains with 360 degree picture views, with lots of outdoor seating on the deck. Log cabin dining and reception area are very charming. The breakfast buffet has typical warm food options such as eggs, meats and potatoes, and also fresh fruit, baked goods, granola, yogurt, and espresso drinks. There is also a nice bar and 4 beers on tap. The outdoor hot tub was perfect after a hike. It’s a 15 minute drive to Matanuska Glacier, where we did a glacier hike. And the staff were amazing. They made you feel welcome, were accommodating, and gave good tips and ideas for things to do in the area. There is also a fire pit outside - a great place to get cozy at sunset.

This place was beautiful! The view was spectacular snow capped mountains,glacier and flowers! This was out our window unit #9. Some places say they have views but this place really does. This place was clean and well stocked with shampoos and lotion. Beds were clean and comfortable

One of the best place to stay out of our 7 days visit to Alaska, where we visited many different cities. Staff was really kind and helpful, they made sure we are comfortable finding everything as we were doing late night check in, they even provided photos over text message with instructions and all. Their cabins are very modern and comfortable with the great views. I would book this again when visiting Alaska next time and highly recommend anyone visiting Matanuska Glacier as its very near by.

An outstanding lodge in the wilderness. After some minor hiccups, the staff went out of their way to ensure our experience at the lodge was an excellent one. |Food was very good and it had a well stocked bar. |Lovely walks (although, unfortunately, we didn’t see the elusive moose but I’m assured they are there). |Highly recommended

We had booked 2 Budget double rooms. 1 of the rooms was smelling like sewer and even after spraying room freshener, the smell didn't go. On requesting for a different room, there was no other room available. It was a very bad experience for my family. Please think twice before booking budget double room as the smell was unbearable and staff mentioned they cannot do anything about it. Otherwise property is beautiful with great views. I have stayed here in past and had booked Deluxe Queen room and that did not have issues.

Stayed for one night here. People were amazing. The view was indeed majestic, almost surreal. They started a fire in the evening and it was great to know some other people staying there. The dinner was a bit expensive but served lovingly and immaculately. The blueberry cobbler was so good.The owner had a super friendly and smart german shepherd. My daughter played with her the whole time.

The experience at Majestic Valley Lodge this time was excellent. It's a fantastic accommodation choice. Due to a delay in our itinerary, we had to check in after midnight. The host kindly waited for us until we checked in. The room had Wi-Fi and provided ample hot water. There was air conditioning indoors, and the nights were very peaceful. The starry sky was also incredibly beautiful. The environment was very clean, and the air was refreshing. The parking area had no standing water. If there's another opportunity, I would definitely visit again!
