We enjoyed the most wonderful warm and welcoming time here. The owner of Patrick has amazing stories and lots of historical knowledge of the area. He's happy to share if you're interested, but he definitely does not push himself on anyone. The food was wonderful. The room was fantastic. The rate was excellent! Walking distance to everything. LOTS to do.

My wife and I had the good fortune to stay here a couple of weeks ago. This was a quick overnighter just to get out of town. It was one of the best B&B experiences we've had in several years. The hosts Susan and Patrick were wonderful. Patrick and Susan were a delight to talk with about Ste. Genevieve and just about anything else. The room we stayed in was lovely, with a nice balcony watch the comings and goings. Breakfast was delicious. As Roger Ebert might have said, two thumbs up, way up.

This peaceful, elegant accommodation is always a welcome retreat from road tripping near St. Louis. The inn and rooms are immaculate, well appointed, and comfortable. Books and art provide quiet entertainment. Breakfast is ample and tasty and just may be accompanied, if invited, by the resident parrot (Bucky) and dog (Barney). This was our second stay in the Trope Ricard Room, enjoying the balcony patio, but other rooms we've stayed in are equally delightful. Innkeeper, Patrick, is always warm and welcoming. His new addition to town, an antique mall within walking distance, is a highly recommended, interesting visit. So many items to reminisce over, and handcrafted items are available as well. A lovely coffee and wine bar in the building with huge, gorgeous bar built by locals provides a relaxing spot to recover from shopping...or get you in the mood for shopping! And Ste. Genevieve is a Mississippi River hamlet worth the stop!

Really nice B&B in the heart of old St. Gen. Patrick the proprietor was very knowledgeable about the area and a great storyteller. The breakfast was outstanding. Our only issue was with the old locks. The lock to our door got jammed prior to going downstairs for a late drink. We called Patrick and he was unable to get it open. Luckily they had another room for us but we had no access to our bags, overnight stuff, and medication. The nearest locksmith arrived around 9 the next morning and got the broken lock off. Hopefully it will be replaced with something more modern and usable. I do like old things with charm as long as they work. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay and the others in our group had zero problems.

My husband and I have stayed here a number of times, and recently recommended it to our son. Our most recent stay was May 2024. Through the years, Owner Patrick and his staff have consistently provided warm hospitality and impeccable lodging. Patrick exudes pride of ownership and is on hand to ensure a top-quality, relaxing experience, complete with enthusiastic art and history tutorials. The staff, too, has been eager to serve guests. The fragrance-free rooms are classically decorated and well-appointed with luxurious bed linens and plentiful seating. Breakfast has always been prompt and plentiful. The resident obedient dog and African Gray parrot are a polite delight. The quaint Mississippi River village of Ste. Genevieve is a joy to stroll for casual dining and boho shopping, and where a small antique mall can also be found. Regional wineries and vineyards abound. You wonβt be disappointed staying in this proven reliable inn at Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.

To say we enjoyed our stay here would be an understatement, if you wanna feel spoiled and pampered this is the place. The whole inn is absolutely gorgeous and full of life and the breakfast made for us felt very luxurious and was absolutely delicious! The couple who run the inn are very kind and interesting people, they also own the antique mall and coffee shop in town. I would 100% recommend this place you'd be hard pressed to find a better experience

Our pet friendly room option was the street level Studio room (the old tavern). Wonderful natural light, large room, comfortable bed, amazing linens. May I add immaculate. Patrick served a delicious breakfast both mornings and we thoroughly enjoyed the history of the Inn and Ste Gen. Main Street is a beautifully restored Inn and lovely landscaped gardens and water feature. We came a bit weary and left refreshed.
