Our waitress Elina/Elaine has to be the worst waitress I've encountered. Not pleasant, ignored us, didn't deliver everything with our food ordered, we asked for extra sour cream which she never brought. What's the point of asking again. The food made the highly negative experience much better. It was hot a.d tasty. Would gladly eat here again but would ask for a different waitress.

Food was so affordable, delicious, and exactly as ordered. Service was fast and very friendly. The restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend!

Sarah's daughter reviewing this time: This place is really good! Service was nice, servers struck up a small convo since it wasn't busy before taking orders, and the food is delicious! Unfortunately, I /did/ find a piece of plastic packaging in my salad, but overall, it was great! Told our server about the plastic, and she took the salad off the bill entirely.

My mom and I like to go out to breakfast on Sundays, it’s a tradition that we just kind of picked up over the last few months and after going to all of the breakfast chains I decided to show her a restaurant that I had ordered from before and I thought was really good and to top it all off they sold grits which is a big yes in our family.

As soon as we sat down at a table a lady with short hair and glasses whom is standing in front of our table talking to another guest tosses the menus on the table without saying a word to us about it. We order our food from another waitress and wait for it to arrive, when they brought us our food, I started to put butter and salt in my grits and I noticed that I had a hair in my grits which was really no big deal except after that I really didn’t want the grits anymore. My mom flagged down this same waitress from before trying to tell her we found a hair in the grits but it was okay we just didn’t want them anymore. The lady tells us “I’m not your server but I’ll get her for you” with the nastiest look in her face. She then comes back to the table with more grits, she had turned around and walked away before my mom said no more grits. When my mom asked her why she had such an attitude she said she didn’t have an attitude, she was “just busy”. I work in food service as a manager and I can tell you, this is not what you say to a customer after you’ve already made them mad or even at all. We are paying for a service. After the incident I saw her walk to the check out stand and point at us from across the room discussing the incident with her coworkers. The discussion part I understood but pointing at me from across the room where I can see you is absolutely nuts. The three people sitting on the opposite end of the table from us sat there this whole time it’s been an hour and a half to two hours and they never received their food, we ordered after them and they never received their food. They actually ended up walking out because someone kept telling them that their food was coming and it never came. What sucks the most is that the food is very good but the staff who work here are definitely not it. This is one of the most horrible restaurant experiences I have ever had.

The place was terrific . The waitress was extremely helpful and nice. The prices are what you dream about. You will leave a happy camper

Salad bar, if it can be called that, is very lacking. There is no protein on it at all.

The onion rings, the waitress raved were hand battered. Hand battered yes, but with beer batter. The fish though tasty, was wet, like it had been soaking for a long time. Both were a bit under fried, being very pale.

The meatballs were not resting in any sauce, and were flavorless. The baked potato was the best part of the table.

Improvement from last time is the new booths. Those are actually very nice. The decor is very confusing, no theme or rationale except for the seasonal holiday decor hanging from the ceiling.

Been coming here for almost 2 years. My daughter and I come almost every Friday. The people here are great. Sometimes the service is slow but that’s only because it’s always packed. That’s how good the food is. I’m glad I found this place. Mrs Elaine is amazing !! We love her

Decided to stop and give this place a try. The decor in the place is comforting. It's a diner, but you get that home cooked feeling. Sarah was our server, and she was phenomenal, very friendly, and attentive to our table. The food came out very quickly was hot and accurate. The food was reasonably priced, would come again and bring the kids.
