We used to love going swimming and visiting this place before it got bought. Now there are so many rules and regulations that you can’t even really enjoy yourself. Kids can’t even bring a water toy like a float. It’s sad because we made great memories here before it became so money oriented. You feel very uncomfortable because you are constantly worried that you are breaking their rules. Go somewhere else if you have a big family.

I am Milton, Florida based graphic designer and illustrator.
I visited this beautiful historical landmark recently and illustrated it. I love Alabama Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve. Tiny and cozy town to live in or stop by for an inspection! Guys, you all should visit it! Thanks for reading my review! With love, your Smallcity Gifts?

We camped out in our RV here for the first time in October. Our site was clean and quite. Miles and miles of trails and ponds. Great views wherever you look.

Our family drove over an hour to fish here. Upon arriving at the gate, we weren’t even greeted. A older lady stood up and just stared at us with a mean look. After about a 30 second stare, she finally said “hi”. I said “hi”. Another 15 second stare and she said ”can I help you?” Very rudely. I said “yes we’re here to fish”. She said “we’re closed”. I asked what time they close daily and mentioned that google says open 24hrs and their website doesn’t list hours and she said “4”. I said we drove an hour here and you don’t close for another 45 min can we just drive through and look around, it’s our first time here. She said well I’m not charging you. I said this place was recommended to me on Facebook-can we at least look around? She said “no we’re closed”. I said ok what’s the price? She said we’re closed. I said I understand what you’re saying but what is the price? She sat down and refused to answer me. We left. We probably won’t be back. I decided to check around to see their reviews and it seems this lady is rude to everyone. Why has she not been replaced? I believe her name is Tracy. I tried to find out who her boss was by calling and emailing. However, no one answers the phone and she told me via email she’s the supervisor. SHE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED! So many people complain about her!!

The campground itself is beautiful. The noise level is terrible. So if you are retired or want a nice, quiet place, this isn't it. The sprawling playground that aligns the campsites assures of loud, screaming children at all hours. Further, either there is no noise ordinance, or it is not enforced as loud music is ongoing into the night. Unfortunately, have to strike this beautiful spot off the list.

This place is beautiful but horrible at the same time. I have never been to a more noisy and boisterous campground. Between the loud music late into the night and the screaming children & dogs. I’m never coming back. All the natural beauty of the place is ruined by the unrelenting noise.

First time visit here with some friends. We had a really good time. Not many people were there when we arrived. So it was a nice slow, relaxing, tube trip and very quiet. So we really enjoyed that. The water was cold and that made it nice on a hot August day in lower Alabama. The entire park area was really clean and I could see this being a nice place to camp in the fall when the tempatures have come down to below 115 to something better suited for camping. Like say something around 55 degrees. No alcohol allowed signs near the water area and that is good to see. All in all it was a good time. The young man driving the bus that dropped us at the tube entry area was courteous and very respectful. He and I chatted till drop off. That's always good when it seems they enjoy their job and helps guests have a better experience. So thank you to him. I'm sure we will visit again.
