I’ve been coming here for 4 years now, well before they made the new renovation. This is my go to salon, I love ALL the staff, they are super sweet ladies, super accommodating, and kind 🤍 and they always make my nails SPECTACULAR! I don’t have a designated person because all of their staff is highly talented.

I have gone twice in less than a week in a half. (Paid both times).
First time I did a french tip gel manicure and within a few days I had some of tips coming off. I went in within the same week and did not get them corrected, but rather paid $25 this time to get them redone. Went with a basic clear color with glitter to avoid the gel coming off so quick.
Guess what! It’s only been 3 days and again it’s coming off.

Major communication problem. I asked what are “healthy nails” or “delux nails” on the touch panel upon checking in, the lady told me “just pick one” without any explanation. The nail technician was surly… I asked if she was going to take care of cuticles, she said “yes manicure” so I gave up (she did take care of cuticles quickly after nail polish was all done) I liked how nails came out, but the service was not match to other places I’ve even to to say the least. So no repeat. I usually leave 20% tip but not this time

Disappointing Experience at Styles Nail Salon and Spa (on 3 accounts)

I am compelled to share my negative experiences at Styles Nail Salon and Spa. On two occasions, I encountered staff members who were not only rude but also engaged in vulgar and racially charged discussions about me and my wife in Vietnamese (I am Vietnamese myself) . When I politely confronted them about their remarks, I was shockingly asked to leave the premises to the front. My wife, the kind-hearted soul she has, still tipped them after the service was completed. Additionally, just today, my wife attempted to call and make an appointment, only to be met with abrupt refusal and a hang-up on call.

These experiences reflect a troubling lack of professionalism and respect. I hope this feedback will lead to improvements in customer service at the establishment.

However, nail service was excellent, with the technicians demonstrating great skill and attention to detail. The paint quality was outstanding; my wife’s nails looked vibrant and flawless for weeks.

This however is extremely overshadowed by the lack of bare-minimum customer service.

-2/10 for customer service.

Always a great experience. From pedicures to fills. Whether I have an appointment or not they get me in. Everyone there is amazing. Best pedicures in San Diego. Luann does my acrylics and she is very particular and detailed. Love have my nails look every time.

Lu-An did a great job with my facial using new techniques and taking the extra steps to find out what my skin needs. It was very relaxing and after one treatment I can already notice how healthier my skin looks.
