We were a party of four adults who stayed in the upstairs suite very comfortably. The owners were very pleasant and helpful in recommending places to see and things to do. The continental breakfast fitted our needs fine, especially since we were up very early one morning. The sitting room was a great place to unwind in the evening and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and very clean as were the rest of the accommodations. I will recommend Log Dreamin' to anyone I know who will be staying in Seward.

We were lucky to stay one night with Kathy and Ramon in their wonderful house and it was really one of the best accomodations we had in Alaska. We liked the house a lot, it was so cozy and comfortable. Our room on the second floor was just perfect, lots of space and privacy. The breakfast was also just perfect, the only time during our 3-week-vacation in Alaska that we got jam that was not prepacked!||Thanks to both of you, Kathy and Ramon! And thanks, that you let us use your kitchen to fry those "huge" fish, Ramon:-)||We highly recommend this bed and breakfast place and wish we could have stayed there longer.

Three adults stayed in the suite upstairs. And although sleeping in bunk beds was a bit weird, ithe suite was very roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was fabulous! And the sitting area, loft was also available for our use but it does open up to the hosts living area. Convenient and clean. Continental breakfast was good. Cathy can even help with booking tours. Yep I'd stay there again.

This B&B is just a few miles out of Seward and was very nice - I stayed in the downstairs room for one night. The room was clean and cozy and quiet, and the private bath was just across the hall. The owner was out of town during my stay, but helped arrange a boat trip in Kenai Fjords in advance. Her daughter (or niece?) was there when I arrived and she was very friendly when chatting at breakfast. ||||I was in Alaska for a couple of weeks, and stayed in a mix of B&Bs, hotels, hostels and camping. The B&Bs were definitely the best value and were all very nice, but they were also all someone's actual home, with the owner living there, which can be a little disconcerting if you're used to staying at hotels. But the advantage is you get to talk more to locals than you would at a hotel.

We've been to many B&Bs, in many countries, and this is simply the best one I've been to. A beautiful location, a beautiful house, luxurious rooms, delicious breakfasts and fantastic hospitality. Really can't think of any downsides to this place. Not the cheapest option, but well worth the price.||||How about alaskan salmon patties for breakfast? Or your own lake to kayak in? Or seeing a moose from 50 feet in the backyard? All in a super friendly atmosphere.||||If you're looking for some pampering in the midst of your outdoors adventures, this is the place to go.

My sis, sis-in-law, and I stayed here for two nights and LOVED it! We were in the suite upstairs. The beds were very comfortable (especially after so many nights of camping!), the bathroom was spacious, and there was lots of natural light, as well as an abundance of cozy spots for reading or bird watching. The owners were angels . . . ready to help us with anything and everything, whether it be choosing day hikes, deciding where to eat, or getting info on other parts of AK that we would be visiting. The breakfast was simple but sufficient (cereal, yogurt, bagels, bananas - which is perfect when you are waking up early and rushing off to your next adventure), and the coffee was delicious. Next time we're in Seward (hopefully soon!), we won't even bother to look at other accommodations! Log Dreamin' is a treasure.

This was the perfect place for our family of four. We stayed upstairs and my young daughters, age 5 and 3, loved having space to relax and play for a couple hours in the afternoon after a day of exploring the Seward area. The B&B is conveniently located and the owners were very helpful in suggesting activities and places to eat. Highly recommended!

When we stayed here, it was a lodge not a bed & breakfast for us. So we were confused if breakfast was included from reading the reviews. The lodge was spacious and comfortable for our group. It was clean and has everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen which was well equipped. The owner is very responsive and helpful! We highly recommend this lodge!
