From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly and incredible service. The staff made us feel right at home, which only added to the inviting ambiance.

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely fantastic. I had a classic breakfast of eggs, ham, and a short stack of pancakes, and everything was cooked to perfection. My wife went with the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs, which was hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a comforting breakfast. And let’s not forget the coffee—rich, smooth, and just right.

Amazing Experience!
We had an incredible time here. The food was fantastic, and the staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming. The indoor design truly transports you to a classic, old-style breakfast and brunch spot—cozy and beautifully done. One of the servers was so friendly that she even sat with us while taking our order, offering great recommendations on what to try. The other lady was equally kind and attentive. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were top-notch. Highly recommend this place to anyone! We’ll definitely be back.

Let's start with the fact that the waitresses were some of the friendliest I've had in months. Very personable and charming. The restaurant looks cozy and clean. There are 4 tables, 6 booths, a table booth combo, and like 9 counter seats so it is very cozy by modern standards, which is nice. Unfortunately, the food I ordered tasted either canned or frozen. The chicken fried steak was about as good as Denny's but the gravy tasted like it came from a generic white can with "County Gravy" written on it in black writing. The potatoes were just fine. The over easy eggs were mixed with one medium and one hard.

In the end the friendly staff couldn't make up for boring poorly prepared food.

Awesome ambience and energy when you enter and greeted with kind smiling faces. This is all great but then the food was amazing great chicken fried steak, super crispy hash browns and everything cooked to perfection 10/10 our new go to spot for breakfast!

First time here! As i am writing this im still here sitting inside of their lodge cafe’ The server who greeted us with warm welcome her name is patty (I just ask) Gave my daughter coloring paper and service is really good. For food, i think it’s gonna little bit pricey but that is all. Thank you! Recommended for anyone who haven’t tried it.

Waitresses are very good, provide excellent service. This is our favorite breakfast place. You need to go in early as it gets so busy around mid morning. Excellent breakfast choices.

Lake Tahoe is missing their rustic little A-Frame restaurant. Set back along busy Auburn Blvd., this small, coffee shop has an unpretentious exterior. The woodsy interior is slightly worn, but clean, with a friendly staff and delicious food. It would be a shame to drive by and not stop in for a tasty meal.
