Get a Denver Omelette, eggs over cooked, cheese not yet melted. I’m amazed by the super thin cut fruits. I will probably skip next time.

Just went here for the first time, and can't wait to go back! Had an omlette, lox, and smoothie, and everything was perfect. Staff was super nice too! 5 stars for sure <3

An off-the-beaten-path cafe, which is probably its best feature. Nestled in a residential area of the museum district, away from street noise and thru-traffic. It's a nice spot on weekend mornings, but can get busy, especially with its modest seating. It still beats the bigger breakfast places like Yolk, Waffles, and Honey Berry.

The food and drinks are fine, but I preferred the original owners version. The menu has a strong Mexican influence, reflective of the owners backgrounds. If you didn't frequent the old version you might not care about the difference, you might even prefer this version. I do not.

The prices and service seem fine for what you get. No real complaints in that department.

Little Branch in Chicago is a delicious & quaint cafe to hit up if you are in the mood for tasty coffee, fresh smoothies, and scrumptious brunch items. I started off with a black coffee and a freshly-blended smoothie. For my entree, I enjoyed perfectly seased ham, crispy potatoes, fresh fruit, and two over easy eggs. The service was spectacular! Little branch is a great spot to have a quick breakfast with friends and family, as well as a nice spot to work remote a couple of hours.

We visited to order for take out. The host was not in a good mood. She huffed with an attitude when I asked a question about what syrups I could add to my lattee. I told her what syrup I wanted and she picked another one. We realized when the coffees came out first and the slip had the wrong syrup. I got her attention and told her the syrup was wrong and if I could get a lattee with the right syrup. She looked at me with an attitude and then asked the barista to make another one. The barista was polite and apologized. We waited a while for the food to come out. I saw that there were bags of food just sitting out so I went to reach for them only to find out that our food had been sitting there for a while and no one told us. I checked the food outside and the picture is what I saw. A smoked salmon benedict with no bread. It didn’t seem that anyone cared and the food was lazy. We won’t be returning. I gave a star because the cafe looked cute inside and we wanted to like it.

I'm in love with this cafe!! They have so many options, including gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian ones. Their prices are reasonable, and the ingredients appear to be quality. We got a panini to split, and a smoothie each. Seriously, all of it was incredible! The staff was relaxed and welcoming. The space itself is cozy and bright with their big windows. They have a few outdoor spots for sitting. Absolutely would return!

Stopped by Little Branch Cafe last weekend and had a solid brunch experience. Ordered the Snow White Omelet—egg whites with mushrooms, red pepper, tomato, avocado, and Swiss cheese—for about $17.50. The omelet came with seasonal fruit and home potatoes, making it a hearty meal. Also grabbed a cortado for around $3.95; it was smooth and hit the spot. The place has a chill vibe with a modern setup, and the patio's a nice touch when the weather's good. All in all, spent roughly $22 before tax and tip. Definitely a cool spot in the South Loop for breakfast or brunch.

The breakfast was good in terms of taste, and the coffee was absolutely amazing—probably the highlight of the visit. However, the portion size was quite small for the price, which was disappointing. What really took away from the experience was the staff. They weren’t very friendly, and the waitress was loudly chatting with the cook, which made it hard to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. It felt like they weren’t considering the atmosphere customers might be looking for in the morning.
