Everyone was really nice. They all said hello. I was a new face so they all came up to me and gave me their names and asked for mine. When I went they had a Thanksgiving potluck. All the food was delicious. They don't care if you're drinking as long as you don't get out of control. Great music. They have a small dance platform in the eating hall. Nice bathrooms. Ice machine. Trash cans all over. I had a really nice time visiting a friend that had an RV. There's also room for tents for camping.

We stayed here for a large group camping trip and were really satisfied with the accommodations.

Some of our group camped in tents, and some of us booked cabins. Overall the campground was spacious. The picnic tables were in great condition, as was the pool area. There is also sand volleyball along with a mini golf area available. Directly across the street, a few friends went fishing. The bar across the street was highly patronized by our group as well.

I was very happy with our cabin accommodations as everything was clean and tidy. Our cabin slept six and had one bed in the bedroom, a futon in the living room, and an air mattress in the loft above. I would recommend putting littles up there as most adults would have to maneuver the loft on their knees or crawling across. From what I heard from other friends, most all of the cabins all have the same layout, some cabins may be a bit more dated than others in terms of decor. Ours was fine, and I would totally rent that one again. There is a full fridge, a stove and microwave in the cabins. We often went to our group's community area on the campsite so we didn't really use the kitchen, but it was handy for prepping and storing items.

The staff was always friendly and helpful with paperwork or answering any questions I had. There was lots to keep the kids busy and our group enjoyed it here. We would definitely come back here again.

We stayed through coast to coast. It was sort of a stopping area while we visited family in the area. The driveway into the park is quite steep but not unmanageable. We got buzzed through the gate pretty quickly but then we weren't sure where to park while checking in, since there are only a few car sized spots at the office area. The guy who checked us in was great he showed where our original spot was and explained there wasn't much shade so we could switch to one of the shaded but no sewer sites. Which was fine with us because there were bathroom/showers only a few hundred feet away. They also have a central dumping site if it's needed. It was quite windy at night but it overall was a great spot to spend our downtime. Last day we were there it warmed up and the mosquitoes came out in force so bring your bug spray. Overall if we are ever in the area we would stay here again.

Had a Great Experience staying here! Called in to set reservations, the staff was friendly, I got the gate code the day before checking in and when I arrived I drove in and parked at my spot. We stayed here the beginning of October and the park was not packed. I hear summers are the time of year this place is packed. But it was nice that it was quiet, My wife and I stayed here to visit some friends that have a boat about 5 minutes away. We spent our days out on the water and our evenings here. They have a pool that I wish we would have planned for but had no time. They have miniature golf and volleyball courts too. Lighthouse bar/restaurant is across the road and a great place for food and drinks! During the summer I recommend getting a shaded area as I’m sure it gets hot. Our area was nice and level and the grass was green and made for a great spot to hangout in the evenings!

Only commenting on $30, medium Olive Sausage Pizza. I've had better frozen boxed $10 pizza from a grocery store!

Place is dirty! Needs a good scrubbing!! Lots of dead flies!!! However, the service was good but a bit slow. The waitress was delightful and attentive. Food was good. Problem is, will they be in business next week. You never know in that ”neck-of-the-woods”. Restaurants don't seem to last very long. Hope they clean up. I'll be back at any rate.
