I chose this place because it's reasonably close to the Fox Theater (about a 10-15 minute drive). Lehmann House turned out to be a cherished part of our weekend trip! The building is in a beautiful historic neighborhood surrounded by adorable town houses. Inside, it's decorated with vintage pieces that make it feel like a journey back in time. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and was served on gold rimmed china with crystal glasses. Lehmann House is near several dining options. We chose Fritanga and were quite pleased. Our experience was everything you could want from a B and B stay!

Our stay at Lehmann House was wonderful. Our bed was very comfortable and our breakfast was delicious. The presentation was so pretty too. Marie's home is lovely and she is so nice!

We stayed two nights in this lovely home. We were in the Judge Sears room. There was plenty of room and the bed was comfortable. We did have a place to sit but with wood chairs, no cushions. However, there was ample space in the hall and downstairs to relax and read or enjoy a game. Marie was so pleasant and stayed to talk with us through breakfast each morning giving helpful hints and background on the house and places in St. Louis.

Marie is a most gracious host, Lehmann House and the surrounding area are very beautiful. You can tell that a loving restoration is happening but it will not inconvenience your stay in any way whatsoever. You will have a four course breakfast daily which I thought was delicious, even if a bit dainty for a growing southern boy. It is a short walk or an easy drive into downtown, easy access to the freeways or historic Route Sixty-six. For value, location and service you won't regret choosing Lehmann House.

So glad we picked this place to stay during our trip to St. Louis. The house is beautiful. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. There's a park across the way for walking. We were also surprised to find that we were within walking distance to the hockey arena, which was our sole purpose of going to St. Louis.
The food both mornings was the perfect amount and very well made. Marie can definitely cook!

Historical Home & Sicilian Host make for a memorable stay!
It was fascinating to read about Frederick Lehmann’s life and his lasting contributions to St. Louis. He truly is an American success story and to stay in his home was a treat. Marie Davies worked hard to restore & furnish the large home to its original grandeur as well as update the electrical and plumbing for safety’s sake. You can tell she has a passion for history. Marie prepared a lovely breakfast for our group of 6. It was indeed an enjoyable stay.
