I was absolutely so excited to come here and spend a spa day for me and my boyfriend. I was able to get a discount Groupon for us which was a little over $400. When we walk in the staff was nice … i was told to get there 1 hour early via phone. Staff requested us to dress in a robe , half the lockers were missing robes and finally when i found one it had sandals that were the same foot… I get there an hour early… and end up waiting a very long time in the “zen” room . The zen room was in no way relaxing- very minimal with a star light . The massage itself was nice and I have no complaints very professional. However, when we were finished it was time for a champagne glass and a different zen room. Overall it seems quite overpriced for what it is . The eucalyptus spray inside the shower was great!! However shower was not aesthetically pleasing also it didn’t even work —no hot water. I end up choosing a different shower which did get hot but the attachment was broken. Overall, go to aire ancient!! It’s the same price and you get a more enjoyable experience . I won’t be back as the experience was not worth it to me.

Very disappointed with my experience here! My appointment was rescheduled without my knowledge from 10 am to 9 am. Received a phone call at 9 am asking was I still going to make it to my appointment. Explained to them that my appointment was at 10. I had all the details that I had placed in my notes that the man who scheduled my appointment told me. The lady who I spoke with told me that I should have received an email and that I could still be seen but my appointment for me and my daughter would be cut short. I explained to her I ever received a email. I also did not stay at the property so I ended up being 20 minutes into my “appointment time” which cut our massages short. When I got up to the front desk it was discovered that my email address was not entered in correctly. I asked was it possible that my appointment was changed and I was not notified because the email address was not correct. That’s when Andrea spoke with who I assume was the manager and explained to him what had happened. He was very dismissive and rude and not apologetic at all regarding THEIR mistake. Andrea, however, was very nice and tried to rectify the situation by offering a body scrub. Although it was a nice gesture it still could not replace the time that was lost for our massage. I feel like it could’ve been such a better experience if they would have owned up to their mistake and we could’ve received the massage time that I paid for. Will never return to this location!

The Leaf spa esthetic and spa menue drew me in. I love the concept overall. Everyone was very kind. My massage therapist and treatment were awesome. Once past the front desk area the leaf spa appeal ended. The locker room and lounge area left something to be desired. I’ve been to other fairmont property spas that really lean into the spa experience. This one did not. The finishing touches were not there. I could see stuff hanging out of the storage area. The ottoman in the locker area was stained. The robes were thin and not a good universal size (too small and I am average size). The lounge area felt worn and lacking enough zen ambience (ie mood lighting, fresher appearing furniture) and the showers had halfway working attachments and not clean to my standards. The steam room and refreshing area were nice. Won’t be back to this spa.

I recently visited this spa and had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the facility was spotlessly clean. The 50-minute massage was relaxing, especially with the hot towels, and the eucalyptus steam room was a delightful bonus. I enjoyed my time so much that I ended up staying longer. They also offer fantastic membership packages. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat.

My sister and I travel from Detroit to come here! Silvia at the front desk is so sweet and facilitates an intention ritual before you begin your service. The facilities are very clean, modern, and relaxing. I especially love the steam room and hot tea selection. Their messages are top tier and always start on time. Dorothy is my masseuse of preference and my sister loves Alex. It’s an overall great experience and I highly recommend Leaf! I cannot say enough good things about this spa.

I am so impressed by this spa! From the check-in service (Jasmina was the kindest person ever), to the welcome ritual, to the massage therapist, to the treatment, to the decor, to the products, this place is amazing! I had the Serenity Slumber Body Treatment which consisted of a massage, scrub, and scalp massage — it was the perfect rebalancing and realigning treatment. I can’t say enough about how knowledgeable Alex was of the tension in my body. I’ll leave the welcome ritual a surprise but will say that that really started my experience off on the best note.

Just had a massage with Trina today at Leaf Spa, Fairmont Chicago. It was wonderful. What I asked her to concentrate on she did. Requested back and shoulders. She asked if the pressure was too much or not enough. She was very soft spoken and kind. The facility was very clean. They had lockers with locks. Also, the receptionist was very pleasant. Told me all the things I could do before my appointment. All the amenities for after shower were there. Well worth it. Thank-you Trina.🙂

My husband and I did the 50 minute couples massage. The ambience of the spa is exceptional. What fell short for me is I asked for more attention to be given to my feet with the add on exfoliation treatment. I’ve had many massages and never felt the fingernails of the masseuse. It was very distracting.

The exfoliation treatment was uneventful and the masseuse didn’t apply any oils or creams to my feet to massage them after exfoliation. The massage was disappointing.

The best part of my experience was the chakra ceremony afterwards with my husband, but I think it’s usually done prior to receiving services.
