Myself and my husband went to LeFevre this weekend for my husband‘s birthday surprise. And let me tell you nothing short of amazing. The view was absolutely gorgeous. Come here. It’s beautiful. It’s sits atop a hill and the scenery if beautiful. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit. Our room was comfortable and clean. There is a wood burning fireplace In the room with a pull out sofa in front of it. Little set of table and chairs on the balcony. This is a gem for the price.

This hotel is located deep in the countryside of Galena but only 7 minutes from the downtown action. Beautiful room and a beautiful view of the rolling hills countryside. Outstanding sunsets over their pond. Service was great but could have used a bit more in their “continental breakfast” offering. We will be back.

We decided to head to Galena on a whim and found this inn by accident- but it turned into the best weekend we have had! The room was spacious, and extremely clean. There was a wood burning fireplace and a jetted tub, we did not want to leave the room! The towels were large and fluffy, and so were the pillows. The bed was comfy and so was the couch for relaxing and sitting in front of the fire. The views were beautiful, and I am already planning a trip in the warmer month so we can enjoy the pool and pond. I recommend the LeFevre Inn and Resort for a couples getaway or a family vacation. We are hoping to rent one of the cottages or the apartment for our next visit, and if they are half as comfortable as our queen room, we will have another amazing stay!!

When other reviews say that this place is great, they are not lying! I surprised my wife with a trip to Galena for our anniversary and decided to take a chance on Le Fevre and they did not disappoint. From the morning before we arrived until we checked out, they took great care of us. They have some of the best customer service that I have ever experienced. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy, romantic getaway with a view, this is the place for you! Take a chance like I did and book it.

My wife and I visited for a long weekend and we found our stay at LeFevre Inn to be very enjoyable. We have stayed at several different locations on previous trips to the area and this will definitely be a repeat location. Granted, we had a wonderful weekend from the weather standpoint but the location and amenities at the inn really helped us enjoy our stay. We enjoyed a late evening float on the lake as the sunset and loved sitting on the deck for our breakfasts. We felt the options for breakfast were sufficient and well stocked. Our room was comfortable and clean. Alfredo at the front desk was a pleasure to interact with and was very helpful when needed. |We weren't thrilled with the TV being above the fireplace. It made watching it a bit strenuous having to look so high up and not being able to see it from the bed.|We are looking forward to our next visit.

This was a lovely stay for a couple's weekend. But I also could see spending time here for a girl's or family weekend. The property is beautiful and has great outdoor space. We relaxed and unplugged in the outdoor space. It was a sunny November weekend. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was simple but all we needed to start the day. The coffee maker in the room was a nice to have. Close enough to town. The property is on the high so the views were breathtaking.

Everything from the view to the service was over the top. Roma is just the best host you good ask for. Our first stay here was 30 years ago, we will be back. The rooms are wonderful and are also keep fresh and new. You and swim or just sit with a bottle of champagne and watch the sunset beautiful.
