First discovered this place summer of 1983. Word of mouth from one of my Dad's coworkers. Rented the "Willows" for one week. We had the best time. Dad and I fished all day and Mom loved the peace and quiet!! We returned over the years to the "Blue Spruce" and "Cedars". My parents have passed, but I returned again to the "Aspens" twice. Will be back in less than a week, this time to the "Poplars". More than just memories bring me back. The management is personal and welcoming. The cabins are always clean, well stocked, and have that rustic feeling that relaxes you. It's becoming a "home away from home" for my household

This place is a hidden gem! The staff is wonderful and the location can not be beat. The bed was comfortable, the amenities are exactly what you need and even the toliet paper was high quality. We will continue to return. We walked around the property many times, the lake view is stunning. Parking is easy.

A gorgeous atmosphere to get away! A view of the lake. Opportunity to use the boats on the lake. We ended up with snow, which brought in cuddly weather instead of water time.

Equipped with awesome Wi-Fi for those that need to do a little work and blending pleasure together. Decorated with warmth and very clean.

What a great place to be for going skiing which is close by!Opportunities galore for outdoor exploring and enjoyment of the beautiful pines!

I thought I did my homework before staying here but I was wrong. I would not recommend staying here for the following reasons. ||There is no beach, and one of the two docs was not practical because it was steep. One was OK, but I had to strap my tackle box to rail so that it didn’t slide into the water. One rowboat had water in it and the other seemed OK, however the oars were dried and cracked. ||There was supposed to be a coffee pot in the room, but I couldn't find one, so I went and bought a small one. ||The handle for the water on our shower was so loose that I thought that it would come off. It was hard to flush the toilet because the shelf that surrounded it only allowed one finger for the flush lever. There was no stopper in the sink or bathtub. My wife had to wipe up hair from the bathroom baseboard. The outside porch light was hanging by two exposed wires. There was a bag of dog waste sitting along our porch the whole time that we were there.|Based on our experience I can see where the resort got its name.

My family and I spent 5 days here and we loved it. Cabins are clean and cozy. 10 minutes from the city. Nice big shady trees. Lake was convenient for fishing every day we were there. Even in the cold windy weather. Staff was very friendly, and helpful when needed. We had to call the staff because the furniss/heater wasnt working, it was the last night spending there around 11pm, and someone drove 40 minutes out to help us. We will definitely be coming back. This is the best stay we have had hands down. Thank you Lazy Oaks For the lasting memories my family will have.

Traveling through the area I found Lazy oaks, and discovered an awesome quaint cabin that is right on the lake.
The gal over the phone was friendly and more than accommodating. I will definitely go out of my way to stay here again.

When I arrived, the gentleman that works the office was not there, another gentleman who came up to help me. I think he was a maintenance man. Very nice and very helpful. When I got there, my blood sugar was low. I was extremely tired. Driving from the valley 3 plus hours.
The maintenance gentleman helped me get in my room early. Unlock the doors and let me in.
