There are more than FIFTEEN PEOPLE SHARING ONE shower. There is a sign on the shower stating it can't be used but the manager was using it. See the towel pictured on the hook and the shower caddy in the shower. Please observe the water droplets inside the shower. I took my shower at 24 hour fitness.

There are smokers there that smoke right outside the open window. The law is they should be 25 feet from the building.

There is major "LOUD" phone use without consideration that it is a shared space.

The white rack is where you're allowed to place your personal items while staying here. In the picture you will see all shelves occupied. My shelf is being used by a "resident".

The lady in the bunk above me was playing loud videos she thought were hilarious and constantly laughed out loud in a disturbing manner.

Someone constantly closed the restroom door (unoccupied) but would leave the occupied bedroom door open so you would hear all noise throughout this hostel.

There was screaming while I was there; sustained screaming.

There was a guy painting the walls and told us not to touch the various walls.

The toilets were CONSTANTLY unflushed! There is a her

There is NO sink in one restroom so you have to use something to open the door so you don't get fecal matter on your hands from the door handle after wiping. You have to go down two flights of stairs to get to the water source to wash your hands.

One of the guys that lived there stared you down like you were his next conquest.

I can't in good conscience recommend staying here.

Ariana and Dcarlo were amazingly helpful from my check-in till check-out, and even after my check-out time, Carlos was really accommodative & even offered the sofa for me to sit while I plan on my schedules for the day. The guest house is well-kept, clean & pleasant and Dcarlo & Ariana are constantly cleaning & tidying every corner to make sure the space is clean & fresh and the two bathrooms are always clean, with toilet papers & towels. I had a bed in a 6-bulkbed room and it's great for a what I needed, and I got my 11-hours sleep without any disturbance, and wifi ran perfectly! Can't beat this price anywhere for a place so near to LAX airport, other than the construction noise in the daytime around the neighborhood which comes & goes. I totally will recommend LAX Guest House to anyone needing a crash not far from LAX, and I'll stay here again if I'm back visiting LA. Hospitality from both Dcarlo & Ariana is worth 5 stars!

As with others, when I arrived they said they had overbooked and had no room for me. Compounding the error, the front desk person left after letting me in and never came back or answered phone calls. Without their presence, it took more than an hour to convince Booking.com that they truly had no space and get myself rebooked. I strongly urge management to adopt an electronic reservation system so that they stop overbooking, and to monitor their phone. Travelers should beware that a paid reservation here carries no promise of a room — you might get lucky and get one or you might not.

First night at Private room was ok..no hot water unfortunately..2nd day i was put on room 3 on double deck on top..it was uncomfortable a lilltle bit i was not used sleeping on double decker bed its my first .and am 60 yrs old lol..anyway the desk people quite nice..overall..it was a good experience staying in a guezt house..and my first..I recommend to everyone who are young and adventurous and have a tight budget..And dont forget bring some shampoo and some towel(you can ask the desk 4 a towel too)..I dont mind coming back for a night stay .again but this time ill be bringing some stuffs and probably staying at the private room instead..Thank u LAX guest house for your hospitality..Ill will bring a canada maple syrup next time🤣😂

10/10 highly recommend —This hostel is a gem! Located only 10 mins away from LAX. The bathrooms and rooms are very clean and up to date.(which was a plus for me).They have both private rooms and shared spaces. The owner and staff were really nice! And as a solo traveler I felt safe here. Would definitely book again.

I visited from LAX after travelling to Mexico. It does have a great amount of things to do in the area. It's good for a stopover, it has all of the economic things you need like a shower, plug-ins, and kitchen + microwave. Make sure you don't overwealhm yourself by staying to long. For that I rated it like 4 stars because there's so much to do, and the food makes it impossible. Overall it was a perfect experience.

Totally disaster. I was Refused u to checked in as they told me they are “over booked “ apparently they do this a lot. Two others were there the same things . And no refund , unless you speak to trips and they give you a few dollars to get a free stay near by

Booked online with expedia 24 hrs prior still had not received correspondence went by location couldnt get any help. Reached out to expedia and my cc company to dispute and told both i would give until 2 hrs before checkin if i heard nothing back it would be breach of contract and a refund would have to be issued. We decided to text the number vs calling and boom we got the check in info with code. We had a private room off of a shared room upstairs. Room was clean and cute well lit and i had no complaints. Decarlo was nice and hospitable and we had no issues. We stayed 3 nights. When we went to checkout we couldnt find anyone so left the key with a note and text the number. Its not good for family travel but individual/ couple trips its convenient and cheap.
