I pre-paid and booked appts for my husband and I together. The day of our appt, they called to cancel because they couldn’t accommodate the schedule. I was charged $97 for a no show fee, even though they were the ones that canceled. When I called to reschedule and ask about the charge, the staff said it was because they canceled 1 of us and we were supposed to call back to reschedule the other. In our opinion, if the appts were together, they should have remained together, with the same requests. But over the phone, the first person I spoke to was very rude and didn’t even tell me to hold to bring a manager to the conversation. The phone went silent and I waited to make sure it wasn’t a connection issue. Then the lead esthetician hopped on the call and continued our conversation, she was nice and informative but I no longer wanted their services. Needless to say, I couldn’t get a refund either for the services I prepaid for. Seems unfair, however, please provide customer service coaching courses for your staff.

Best massage I’ve gotten in a long time and I enjoyed my first facial very much!

Swedish Massage: 8/10
I had a private room that was super clean and very relaxing, the massage bed was very comfy and the masseuse was kind and extremely calming. Her scalp massage technique was everything I needed! Just enjoy oil was used and I was on cloud nine the entire session. I loved the entire massage but I got a 50-min massage instead of a 60-min massage. But maybe they stopped it early because I was due for a 45-min facial.

Facial: 10/10
I have nothing to compare this facial too, but I loved how the young woman described everything is was doing and using, keep me informed the entire way. It was so relaxing and the tiny face massage I received during the process made my experience even more enjoyable.

I came here with a Groupon and I will definitely return in the future and gladly pay full price.

Went for a group yoni steam with my relatives. We were able to have the room and it fit 6 of us. We were able to bring wine and light snacks and sit in a zen room. Lights were low and we got to have an hour without kids or our husband's interrupting. They also have waxing, massages, and facials. Black-owned!!! So close to people in Compton, Long Beach, bellflower, lakewood, and Downy. I will be back!

Customer service is disappointing . I’ve never met someone in customer service who couldnt provide it.its extremely sad to see how low our people have become in America where people just aren’t decent depending on how shitty they feel in there current life . Sad it happened this way as I am from bellflower and have done a lot of community outreach out there over my life . Spend your money where they know how to communicate ?

I had a wonderful experience at Lavish Cassandra, my facialist, was incredibly kind and attentive throughout my facial. She took the time to listen to my skin needs and made me feel incredibly welcome. Her expertise was evident as she provided useful tips for my skincare routine. I opted for the basic facial with a Groupon, but I will definitely be returning to try other facials.

After my facial, I also had a Swedish massage with CJ. He was knowledgeable and asked about my work/lifestyle to tailor the massage to my specific muscle needs. The pressure was deeper than what I'm used to but I felt great afterwards, and even now, the following day, I have no pain or discomfort.

The atmosphere at Lavish is calming and the cleanliness is top-notch. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

I had a consultation, facial & peel just left the office haven’t started peeling yet but needed to leave a review because this was the best experience I’ve had so far! First the medspa was so clean which I love and appreciate since I’m a little bit of a clean freak and just post the pandemic. Second I was told exactly what was happening, when it was happening and why. I felt so comfortable and I am so excited to see my full results. I’ll be coming back for other services as well. Also love the fact you can text with any questions. So glad I found this medspa - upset I didn’t find them sooner!

I really wanted to give Lavish a good review because everyone seemed to be, for the most part pretty polite. However, the services were a bit weird and unusual. Firstly, they did not honor the price they told me at the time of the booking. I told the receptionist who had guaranteed on a price and since that person was not there on the day of our treatment, she did not honor it. We were charged $30 more for each person.
Then the facial was to be 45 minutes. I've been to many day spas and the person doing facials usually stay in the room for most of the time. They also explain what they are putting on your face and why. This person only asked if there was a skin concern. Then quiet the entire time. Kept leaving for 10 minutes at a time. No extractions, no hand or shoulder massage. It was just a face wash, a mask, and then some serum. The entire service might have taken 20 minutes.
The 60 minutes massage at times seemed promising, but the person did not listen if we wanted less pressure. A nerve on my shoulder blade was hurt and has been hurting for days since. My cousin was bruised, and has bruising days after her massage.
Oh! I forgot to mention that we were rescheduled 3 times. Also, I had a screenshot of the price that we were guaranteed and they still did not honor it.

New place for me. I like the environment. No pain, no gain is why I came because the pain wasn't that bad during my Brazilian. They only have a 5 min grace period☹️ with the way the parking is set up it should be longer.
