Owners are VERY kind, front desk respectful. David is a wonderful therapist and does an amazing job, very professional. Atmosphere is very relaxing and very clean. I've been with them 4 years or more now! Best place in cook county!

See below… continuing to argue through reviews…. SO UNFORTUNATE!! Their professionalism has gone WAY DOWN. Owners should be worried having these types of people running their establishment. It’s supposed to be a calming experience- the people upfront are confrontational and temperamental. Such a shame this place has been driven into the ground.

David has been my therapist for about 3 years and he is awesome. Unfortunately the service on the phones and up front has become unprofessional and rude. Their problem resolution skills for customers are nothing but poor. Depending on who’s working that day, depends on how you’re treated and if/ what your card is charged. I unfortunately had a 20 minute debate with Willie on the phone and some lady manager in the background, who rudely explained to me that each employee runs their shift different. They also told me I should have remembered the contract I signed three years ago. They’ve decided to start following the “policies” all of a sudden without warning after three years, so they want you to remember them. They’re more interested in arguing with their clients, then actually resolving the problem and retaining their clients. No thank you!! Membership cancelled. Learn to be flexible with people. If you’re not, other places surely will be.

Hi, I’ve come all the way from Canada to visit my Daughter in Chicago, and one of my best experiences is getting a full body massage at Lavida’s. The service is fantastic and the people are super friendly. They make my day every time i visit them. Willie and Bonnie are the best.
You want the best massage in Chicago, Lavida is the best there is.

My masseuse David is wonderful. He listens to my concerns and delivers quality therapeutic massages. Receiving massage therapy as an addition to my wellness plan is proving to be beneficial. I sleep better and have less muscle pain. It also aids in regulating my mood. I am much more relaxed.

My DEEP TISSUE massage was delightful.
I’m only giving 4 stars because of the room odor.
The masseuse Inez’s was VERY good, the room she escorted me to for my service had a really weird smell. After admiring the fragrance in the lobby and the hallway it was extremely noticeable and off putting. I immediately requested another room and it was pleasant. Inez started off a bit chatty so I politely explained to her within the first Three minutes of her attempting to converse beyond questions about pressure, aches and pains - that I really came in for solace and service. And that I would let her know if I needed more or less pressure. She said okay, thank you, and the rest was absolutely perfect.

I always see David, who isn't only an amazing massage therapist, he is a genuinely amazing person. The owners are great, and I love they give younger people work to handle the front desk in the late afternoon/evening hours.

David saved my birthday! I had booked a massage and facial for my birthday at a different spa, and they had to cancel at the last minute. I called Lavida Massage, and they were able to take me right away.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming while also clean. I enjoyed my massage immensely, and I will return.
