Picked this campground off Google during a cross country trip. Wanted away from the interstate but not too far. We were blessed! Great site, SUPER CLEAN BATHHOUSE with โ€œrainforestโ€ shower head & plenty of hot. Great store for the essentials & treats. Was met at the entrance by Linda who was just so very hospitable. Lovely grounds. Had site 33 in the corner with elec/water and really felt good about this choice to stay. Donโ€™t hesitate. (Sorry my pics are dark - got in just before dusk.)

One of the best campgrounds! Well maintained, peaceful, fantastic staff. Highly recommend this place. I can't say enough about this place. From the well stocked store, pool and dog park, all is exceptional! |Picnic table and fire ring are furnished as well perfectly placed trash cans and dumpster.

We loved our overnight stay, quiet, great showers, bullfrogs sang us to sleep and sweet birds singing this am. We did experience heavy rain but because of the short grass everywhere made it easy to load up. We will be back for sure.

Very pleasant, nice and quite campground. Itโ€™s located in a very natural surrounding with a little creek. The bathrooms are very clean and well operated, like the campground in general. The friendly host helped us out with some grocery from her own storage. We definitely recommend this campground.

Our families first camping trip and this exceeded our expectations! Even though a "RV park" We tent camped after hiking Matthiessen State Park. Arrived around 4pm and caretakers were beyond helpful. Got to choose any tent site we wanted that had an open picnic table. Owners let us use their air pump to fill our air mattresses which saved us a ton of time, even offered to let us use their golf cart when the blown up air mattress wouldn't fit in the car (we declined and put them on the roof and drove slowly instead). Offered to help load our firewood into the car, $6/bundle and each bundle lasted over an hour.|The camp site was clean with a fire pit and sliding grill grate at each site. We stayed on the primitive camp side of the creek, no electricity or water hook ups on that side. The spots were spread out nicely with plenty of room. Seemed to be closer to each other on the RV side but can't speak on that as well. The dog pen was large enough to give your dog some freedom but not overtake the whole property. The pool looked clean and nice although we didn't swim this time. There is a small creek that flows through, kids can fish but probably will only catch minnows. The site we chose happened to butt up to a cow pasture which only was problematic early in the morning with loud moo's.|The bathrooms/shower house was AMAZING. Updated tile wood floor, private, clean shower stall, large shower head with HOT water. Way better than anticipated.|There are quite hours that are mentioned and most people seemed to abide. There happened to be a group that played a loud violent/scary movie from 11pm-almost 1am. Not much you could do about that, but maybe getting someone's number who would be "on duty" for the night in case this happens to you, so you could call and complain. It was the only complaint we had and not something to keep us from returning.|We will recommend to our friends and family. A great first camping trip for our family!

Haven't been here in years since it was a KOA, but would really love to return if, 1) people are not 40-50 per campsite...under a tarp...with a fire! which believe it or not, actually went on, and families of 8 are not doing all their laundry in the laundry area.

Nice little location! Tent camped for the weekend of 8/19-8/21 in a very nice, shady spot. Grounds are well kept, staff very friendly, store had all you needed, all the guests respected the quiet hours, and the pool was very nice! The moon rises from the upper tent camp area were just spectacular! I am a KOA member an we will stay here again.

Only downside: the bathroom counters and sinks were very clean, but the showers and floors were filthy. The same clumps of hair and dead cockroaches were in one of the shower stalls for our entire stay which seems to indicate they are not being regularly cleaned. Be sure you're wearing footwear here.

I hope they put some lounge chairs in the pool area. There were only standard chairs which are not very comfortable for relaxing.

This was by far the nicest KOA Journey we've been to yet. The staff was friendly, the pool clean, the shower house newly remodeled, and the sites clean. It was easy access to the highway without the noise. There were no bugs other than a couple of flies.||||Our site was against the road, not ideal for kids, but there wasn't too much traffic. The sites are small, but no one was in the spot next to ours, so we had plenty of room. On our departure, the field next to us was littered with cows. It was our first sight or sound of them in the three days we were there.
