This is a nice B&B by the pedestrian downtown of Utica. Starved Rock and Matthiessen Parks are only a few minutes drive. Bruce and Ollie’s Ice Cream is on the same block. We got takeout and enjoyed it on the screen porch of our cottage. The cottage was very clean and quiet. It had a coffee maker fridge and microwave as well as a nice spa tub. Booking by phone was very easy - we were given information on how to park which was helpful. Breakfast was hot, on time and very tasty. They asked for our dietary restrictions which was appreciated. Recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Landers House! The property is right within walking distance to downtown Utica, great location. Rooms were very clean and the hosts were super accommodating making sure we had everything we need. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Starved Rock or the Illinois valley area.

Book with confidence! Property is clean and well kept with plenty of outdoor seating areas. Stayed in "The Rock" cottage which was once again very clean and well kept. Research indicates the property was recently renovated. Fridge, coffee machine, microwave, a fully stocked kitchenette. As a frequent traveler the expectations for the price point are well met. Management made accommodation for Gluten Free with the provided breakfast which was delivered hot and precisely on time. I will not hesitate to both recommend and stay here in the future.

A great place to stay after a long day of hiking. The shower was perfect. Plenty of ledges hold your things. The bed was spacious and comfy. AC worked well. Had an electric fire place but it was August so we didn’t try it. Never saw or heard any of the others guests. The hotel is right off the main street in town so dinner is right there if you want. Also ice cream and coffee places.

Highly recommend! From the moment of reservation until the check out all went smooth. We were a group of 6, stayed at the Buffalo Ridge two bedroom. Place was spotless clean, new, fully stocked kitchen, new appliances. Comfortable beds and sheets. Plenty of towels. Location is short walk to the Mill Street and 8-10 minutes away from the Starved Rock state park.
Breakfast delicious and plenty. We made our coffee and ate outside on the beautiful patio.

Found this place online as a halfway stop on a long drive home. Stayed in the Falls and was quiet and relaxing. Took advantage of the wonderful downtown area a block away at the winery and supper at Skoogs. Breakfast delivered to our room! We hope to be back!!

Had a beautiful experience from the get-go. Spacious for 2 plus a furry babe (caribou cottage) and inviting.
Neighborhood was lovely, right downtown in walking distance to food, drinks, coffee.
Owner was accessible and very accommodating. Breakfast was good ! Jacuzzi was probably the best part of our stay, super relaxing.
Will definitely be back.

Wanted a quiet weekend away with the wife for our anniversary. This was the perfect spot. We stayed in a cottage. Clean cozy and everything we needed. Right next door to some great resturaunts and bars and just minutes away from Starved Rock state park. Perfect place and perfect weekend. Oh, and the breakfast brought to us every morning.....AMAZING!
