The perfect getaway with the sweetest hosts! So friendly, accommodating, and welcoming! Water and electric hook up, a huge beautiful lake, and an easy access dump station. We were very happy with our few nights we spent here!

My husband and I travel all over the country for work and we were driving through town about 9pm and needing a place to stay. We came into Lakeside RV and the owner came out to greet us. He was incredibly friendly and happy to help! Very nice quiet little campground on a beautiful lake! Big sites too!

Friendly in the beginning. Camping on white rock. No shade. Right beside a busy bait shop. But the worst part is the fact that they are not kid friendly. It's really only for the older fisherman type. Apparently they dont appreciate the sound of a 2 and 3 year olds laughter while they pushed their dump trucks around the camper. And dont forget that he told us we needed to shut up our crying 5 month old, like you can prevent an infant from telling you he is hungry. After my husband defended our family and said he wouldn't prevent our children from being exactly that, CHILDREN there to play and enjoy their weekend. He told us we were not welcome to come back. 🤣🤣 like I would come back anyhow to be treated like that.

we headed to Olney for a baseball tournament and decided to camp instead of get a hotel room. Park was crowded but found a good spot and enjoyed relaxing before the game. My son got sick and we had to leave so I went to pack up although I had paid for 2 nights. The host was nice and refunded our second night although we both know he didn't have to. I will definitely keep them in mind the next tournament we come through.

We camped for two days and attended a family reunion in Parkersburg that Sunday. A camp ground attracting a lot of fishermen and right off the lake. We soon were greeted by the owner and he was very nice. All the camp sites sits on white rock with no grass and no shade.. Our rv had to be leveled about 4 inches but no problem. I just think a camp ground that has been in business for 40 years or more, should have had time to do a little more excavating. Really the campground has nothing to offer but a bait shop and a so called kids swing and sliding board. The bait shop had a smell you will take home with you. Then we found out the water also stinks and undrinkable and smells like fish also. This campground also offers free wifi to which is unrealized. I talked to the owner and he said for me to bring my laptop close to his house for a wifi signal. I could not believe this place. Then we could only get 1 channel on our tv. On top of that, don't bring your cel phones here either, no towers. My wife was raised in Olney and she cant believe how the whole town has went downhill. We used to tent camp here when we came down time to time. I remember they had things going on like a dance with live music and a movie certain times for adults and children.
