This is the most beautiful and welcoming place I have ever visited. I travel often, but nothing about this place is ordinary. The owner, Carol, is an incredibly warm and lovely person who gives this charming retreat its homely character. It truly feels like a home away from home.

The room is beautifully appointed, the breakfast is delicious, personally made by Carol and the views are simply breathtaking. If you're looking for the perfect place to stay, this is it!

At home European atmosphere run by tge nicest woman anyone would ever have the privilege to meet. Carol was there to greet me upon arrival and make a homemade breakfast of blueberry pancakes and sausage in the morning. Definite place to come and relax or just spend the night if you are stopping over. Don’t spend your money at the local chain hotel if this place is available.

Charmed. What else can you say when you have been charmed? I have been charmed. But say I must, there is no detail spared from the beautifully apportioned bedroom and living room, and I love the sweet little bathroom and the detachable shower hand wand that is a must for me, and great hot water and shower pressure too. And most importantly, THANKFULLY no harsh cleaning chemical smells found in some B&B's! Ohh and shhh, Carol rocks the mean breakfast! Yum!

Loved this place, the location, and the adorable quaint country decor in every room. The owner, Carol, was very sweet, very helpful with tips about the area and made the most delicious breakfasts!

It's a lovely and cosy bnb with property accessible to the lake front and the most beautiful pine trees. Carol was the nicest host we ever had in all our bnb experiences.
We had the most delicious homecooked breakfast. Enjoyed sharing experiences with her and other room guests at breakfast. Wished the breakfast hour was longer.
We stayed in different rooms on 2 different occasions. Each room was beautifully decorated just like home. The bathrooms and linen were clean.
There is also a cute little shop with lots of gift items handmade by Carol.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day trip to Alaska. Carol and her bnb left us with even more beautiful memories and with lots of gifts I bought from her shop.
We will be back, hopefully to relax and to explore Wasilla a bit more.

Great breakfast every morning, very clean rooms, spacious rooms, beautiful property. The host could not have been more friendly and accommodating. My family loved our time here and Carol is the nicest person. |It was so relaxing to end the day sitting by the lake and watching the ducks as the sun set.

The room we had was just beautiful. The hot homemade breakfast was to die for. She also has a cute little gift shop. I HIGHLY recommend this bed &breakfast. Our host Carol was the sweetest lady you'd ever meet. I'm SO glad we chose to stay there. Prices and service way better then your average hotel room. When you stay here your like family.
