It was the location, we need to stay at. My husband had stayed there years ago. Nice people, terrible place, dirty old outdated rooms. Had to use, my own personal spray and cleaning supplies, and bedding we had in car, for our new place. still have bug bites on my arm. So pissed, dump, hard beds, just nasty. Almost slept in car.

Rooms very dated lacks normal comps you would get any where else. Carpet was dirty, there are pest traps under the beds. Aldo certain rooms have bed bugs.

She moved me three times and refused to refund my money when I left 3 hrs after checking in. Every room was bed bugs! And showing her made her madder.
Don’t over night in Pana keep going to Taylorville, Shelbyville, Vandalia or Decatur!
She has let some many dope heads and methheads live in the rooms that everything is infested with bed bugs, roaches and mice.

After a terrible experience at the rosebud, I got a room here. The owner is very nice letting me see the rooms before I payed. The cleaning staff on the other hand didnt do a decent job at all. I found dirty clothes behind the refrigerator, walls, light switches, floors, chairs, and table tops were filthy. I bought a bottle of bleach and bug spray. Found a cockroach on my last morning. But most of all there is a strange smell that no candle or spray will take care of. Sadly there are only 2 places to stay here and this bbn is the "cleaner" option.

I stayed here on a business trip and was pulling a large trailer so was first of all pleased to see that there was ample flat parking. The lady who checked me was most pleasant and helpful when I asked about restaurants and coffee in the morning. They have no breakfast but had a nice two cup coffee maker in the room. The motel is the older ma/pa style and is owned by Americans who have had it for years. The furnishings were pretty old, but the room was very clean and neat and every thing worked so I was pleased with the room. The bed was clean and comfortable. I would go back as it was economical and well worth it.

Very disappointing! Nice older ladies who run the place, but do not maintain it very well. Cockroaches, broken blinds, just filthy. Was on road and only place we could find to stop late at night. Never again ! Heater in bathroom kept running...no way to turn off. Very brief stay til we continued on our way. Couldn't sleep.

Terrible place don’t ever go there!! Bed bugs everywhere!!!!!! My poor husband had to run out of the room in the middle of the night! Sleep in his truck. Especially after a long day at work since this hotel was his only option with been in the middle of nowhere working. This old lady running this place and knowing theres bed bugs and still having people check in and not doing anything to clean up this place! Just Unbelievable was rude after my husband complaint and wouldn’t give him a refund! Saying how she couldn’t do anything about it! And how he should of came in the middle of the night to let her know but how can you when they close!!!! Dead beat place it should be shut down completely!!!! DONT GIVE THEM BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
