This place is really good! The service was very fast and friendly. We had steak and chicken tacos, steak Buritto, and ground beef Tostadas. Everything was extremely good, but the steak was by far the best. It had good seasoning and was cooked perfectly. They also have very good rice and beans. We will definitely be coming back here. If you're in the area, check them out. You won't be disappointed.

First and last time going here.
It was a clean, colorful themed place with great people working here but the food quality is just not there unfortunately.

I ordered the flajta dinner fairly priced but the steak was flavorless and very over done, so chewy my jaw was getting tired chewing it down. It came with 4 tortillas which I was able to make 3 decent tacos out of the whole platter. It came with rice which was moist and not dried out but again was flavorless. Also it came with beans which were barely warmed (picture shows how cheese not even melted on top of the beans showing how it was on colder side)
They have 1.50 mini taco Tuesdays (steak, beef, pork) I got 1 pork and it came out so dry and no flavor i had to drench it with hot sauce to enjoy.
My mom got the red enchilada dinner which comes with 3 enchiladas but after trying to cut into the one it was so burnt on the underside we had to ask for a new order since they were all burnt badly underneath. They had no problem replacing it but when they brought the replacement out, they only replaced 2 since my mom took a bite from the first order. Not only did they bring out 2 over done enchiladas again but why wouldn't they replace the 3rd as well if the first order was all burnt.
Lastly, their horchata is poo here. It taste like bubble gum after chewed for 10 mins with a mild flavor if you know what I mean.

We made reservations for Cinco de Mayo for 6. When we arrived, the table was set and ready for us. The restaurant was small, but cozy. I honestly did not expect much. Was just hoping to have a few margaritas and hopefully some decent food. I was pleasantly surprised! The chips and salsa provided to us as we browsed the menu was delicious! Not too hot and very tasty! I ordered a cucumber margarita and others at my table had the strawberry and lime margaritas. They were all yummy! Then the food came...excellent! My friend ordered what he jokingly called the Mexican French dip and loved it. Others at my table had steak and carnita tacos and enjoyed them. I was disappointed they did not have the tamales advertised on their menu and opted for the posole instead. Can I just tell you that it was AMAZING! The broth was so delicious! The heat was spot on and I wish I had more as I type this! We ended with fresh, warm churros. The wait staff was also taking phone orders and orders at the counter. They were busy, but it wasn't difficult to get their attention when we needed them. The owners came out and checked on us several times and were very nice. We definitely found a hidden gem and will be back soon!

If you are looking for amazing, homemade, authentic Mexican food, this is the place. The salsa was by far the best I’ve had. The homemade tortilla chips were super crunchy and not as greasy as I’m used to seeing. Tried a chicharron taco and 3 chicken tacos. Well worth $2 each. The staff were super friendly. Seems to be a family restaurant, based on the recipes of their Grandmother back home in Mexico.

We loved every dish. Happy to have found this place. Even the rice and beans were quite flavorful. Their Salsa may look watery, but the flavor is nice and hot.

Ordered mini tacos (steak and beef)and the queso birria tacos. The service was AMAZING but the food was AWFUL. The beef was super salty, the birria tacos were Burt and super hard; they were even a tad bit spicy and they had no flavor. So extremely disappointed because in the past the food was better not sure what changed. The rice and beans are always delicious but everything else was over salty, burnt, hard and overall not good.

We ordered to go a few days ago from La Tortuga Feliz. It was our first experience, and we will definitely be back! The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful as we tried to decide what to order. My husband got horchata and said it was delicious. We ordered a variety of foods. It took awhile for them to make everything but it was worth the wait. While we waited, it was slow enough for the cashier to chat with us about the restaurant and its origins (her family re-created her grandparents' restaurant they own in Mexico!). The food was delicious and obviously homemade. I had a chicken gordita, and I will definitely get it again! Hubs had a steak burrito, very flavorful. Our sons had chicken tacos (American style) and a chorizo burrito, also very good. We also ordered tamales, which were good, though I'm in search of tamales made the way my MIL used to make them. The guac was fresh and yummy, and the rice was the best rice I've ever had from a Mexican restaurant--flavorful and delicious. 😋
