Have been trying to get a refund of my monthly subscription for 3 months! I have been a customer for 4 years and never asked for my money to be refunded due to the spray tan machine being down more than 50% of the time. When my August fee came out I asked to be refunded due to the machine being down and they did not know when it would be repaired which was the norm over the last few years. The ladies asked that I bring in bank records a few weeks later when I said I hadn’t received my refund. They sent it off to corporate and I waited. September came and again was charged when I had been told my account was on hold. The ladies tried to make some calls for me over the next few weeks as well as giving me corporates number to call directly. I have left multiple messages with corporate and heard nothing back. I was charged again for October and the machine is still not up and broke again while I was using it when it was said to be repaired. As someone who runs multiple businesses in the area I would never do business this way. I would not recommend them to anyone in the future especially anyone considering a monthly membership.

I went in to my local LA Tan at the end of October to cancel my membership, I was talking to the girl about how I am going through a divorce and need all of the money that I can get right now, she wrote my name on a blue post it note and said that she would cancel my membership effective November 1st (since it was so close to November I would have been charged a fee). I was charged in November and assumed that it was just because I did not get there in time to cancel. I was just charged again for December and should not have been. I just called to speak to someone, I described the situation to the girl on the phone and she told me that she was the manager and told me that I was not there and did not cancel because she doesn't remember this and no paperwork popped out. I described to her the entire situation and she told me that she would never do that and that there is paperwork to sign and that pops out as soon as a cancellation is put in, I informed her that there was no way for me to know that and that if she was cancelling the membership after I was there then of course there would be no paperwork, I did my part and I do not feel that she did her part. I feel extremely insulted and she proceeded to argue with me the entire time and kept telling me that I was wrong and that I did not cancel because there was no signed paperwork - I was called a liar when I used my lunch hour to go there to cancel, I asked for her to refund me for December and she said that there is no way for her to do that and that I never cancelled. I'm just shocked at the lack of customer service that I received and how she was so willing to argue with me on the phone. I will not be going to LA Tan in the future and I will be sure to tell my friends and coworkers about my experience!

Rude people. Never again would I walk in their. I dont think they deserve any stars. Asked about packages didn't even look at me, just handed me pricing list. Either she was having a bad day. Work is work, home issues stay at home. People just dont seem to differ from the two. That why places gets bad reviews. When a person changes my mood I'm going to give them a review they deserve. This was back in Oct. when visiting.

I used to love this place, they do Not keep up on the bed maintenance and most of the time many of their beds only work half way.

Change hours at Sterling Illinois location on Google. Shows the store is open on Sunday until 5. Not true. Drove out there and closed at 3 :/
