Beautiful resort! Great place for family with young childrenā¦many swimming pools around this resort⦠a nice place to retreat especially during the January! While everywhere is cold, no wonder people in the east coast flocks here⦠now that is part of the Waldorf hotel collection, the resort is pictured perfect beautiful with flowers everywhere! The Ginger Roger resort is where we had our board meeting.. the Adobe grill is actually very good!! Many rooms to choose from.. many āAdobeā .. our villa #501 is named after Ginger Rogers with 2 huge bedrooms so is great for family and the huge living room is excellent for small meetings or retreat group..with bonus if swimming pool in front

Second time staying here and generally excellent. Room was a spa villa and over the top excellent with indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Awesome outdoor terrace with comfortable couches and tables. View of the grounds was superb. Enormous bathroom, superior lighting, great towels and bedding. If you can spring the extra cash for one of these rooms itās worth the cost. Have stayed in one of the more basic rooms and it was quite dark yet comfortable. Was disappointed this time with the Marketplace coffee shop and 26 restaurant breakfast the last day. Marketplace is a mismanaged nightmare. Plenty of people behind the counter but line wait with just, say, 8-10 people was a good 20 minutes. Then you have to wait another 20 minutes to receive your drink if itās any sort of specialty coffee. Also, a couple of the servers are downright brutish. On our last day 26 put a hold on seating despite less than 50% of the tables being occupied as the kitchen was backed up. Went to the front office manager who went above and beyond the call to take care of us. Was also highly annoyed at all the ā livestockā. Dogs were everywhere. Dog feces in several places on the otherwise spotless sidewalks. Pointed it out to grounds keepers who could have cared less. Dirty room service plates sat just off the sidewalk by our room for 2 days. Fitness facility has limited equipment and is severely tight space and CROWDED! I discovered how parking can be a nightmare when i decided to just drive a couple miles to get coffee in the morning (youāll have to in order to not die of old age in the Marketplace line). It appears that around 7:30-8 am the parking in the spa area is completely full from outside people coming for tennis lessons etc. if youāre paying up for a spa villa youāll be annoyed at having to search for a spot at the front if the hotel. Still, beautiful grounds, very tranquil and excellent front desk crew.

Worst resort experience Iāve ever had. Oldy moldy! Room smelled like mold, had to move to a new one which was ārenovatedā - nope, also moldy. They have many courtyards all with pools to relax, which seems great except the landscapers tag team all day. If itās not the mower, itās the hedger, itās not the hedger itās the trimmer. Enjoy an afternoon of huffing gassy fumes, have your allergies go nuts from grass clippings and the glorious sound of motors. Try going to another one of the many pools to get away from it? Oh no. Itās all coordinated and going on there as well. Horrible

The layout was designed so well. It can be a getaway from a getaway. There were lots of kids and dogs throughout the property. So it's kid and pet friendly. However you can find a pool where there is nobody is around. The spa and workout facilities were nice. The breakfast buffet was pricey $48/person but worth it.

This was my first time staying at this resort after I had heard so much about it and seen it once before. Mostly everything was great. Pools are lovely, grounds are beautiful, the fruits on property are delicious, and champagne George was a real treat! That being said, the pricing is absurd $7 for a hot tea, the restaurants are all sub-par, the pool sometimes had happy hour but sometimes didnāt, plus upon trying to drop into a tennis clinic they let me on the court but then asked me to leave because someone who was 10 minutes late finally showed up. Quite bizarre. Overall the resort is very family oriented and elderly couples, so an interesting vibe. The staff was great and virtual concierge was fun!

Surprised I have never reviewed the La Quinta Inn, I have been there many times over the last decade or so. This is one of those places that manages to age well, while keeping the things that made it famous, it still can translate to a modern, upscale experience.
History this place has in spades. Once the winter retreat of Hollywood elite, enjoying silent picture stars and film producers, it is now a favorite of young families with its clustered one and two bedroom villas, and picturesque grounds. Offering tennis and golf, multiple pools and gift shops, this place hums with activities.
Dining opportunities offer Mexican at the outdoor Adobe Grill, the modern California centric Morgans of the Desert or Twenty6 that straddles being a bar or a casual restaurant.
Recently a number of The Bachelor shows have been centered there. This builds on its reputation as a home to the stars.Frank Capra was a frequent resident. The pools often entertained the Hollywood elite of the 30s and 40s.
Not inexpensive, it is not overly expensive. A real treat for those visiting the desert.

Fantastic experience and location. Highly recommended. High desert casitas with pools and hot tubs available near every room. In room fireplaces and beautiful walkable grounds.
Three full service restaurants. Recommend twenty6 for dinner. It was all good. A cafe with great hot food to go.
Plenty of tennis and pickle ball courts and world class golf.

This place was oh so beautiful. The fireplace in our room was perfect. It kept our room nice and warm. We went to go eat at the mexican food restaurant and it was amazing and our server was really helpful. The ambience for Christmas was perfect. Me and my husband love this place and can't wait to come back. Check in was easy and all the staff were nice. Thanks again la quinta
